2. I’ve seen a cheapie “six shooter” version at the local Sunday flra market. Of course I bought one… The latest incarnation is something (made in China) called “soft air” which shoots 6mm “soft” plastic pellets. Available in every format from “Walther PPK” to “Kalashnikov AK-47”.

3. Plastic Pellets work very well as a means of harmlessly discouraging squirrels and chipmunks from raiding the bird feeders. The “tree rats” are really too stupid to actually “learn”, but it does slow them down, at least while I’m watching.
