  1. Well hell, why not!?!

You can’t get fired if you’ve skipped a day a work.  The schools will do nothing to you.  So, sure, have some fun breaking stuff and confronting what’s left of authority.

  2. If I were a business owner in France, no one gets hired without a contract that would
stand up in court.  Other employees, any stockholders, and the owner himself all stand
to loose because of a worthless employee.  It’s not fair.

  3. Sheesh. This is sickening. I hope I’m not around to witness the day when the US ultimately gets sucked into this downward spiral.

  4. I think they are continuing to protest because they are bored to tears...I would be.

  5. Jester: Are you sure we aren’t ALREADY on the downward spiral? - re: current immigration “protests”.

  6. We’re already halfway there. I just hope we don’t get to the “protest continues in spite of government already surrendering” parts.

  7. Hey!  Going to demonstrations back in the 60’s was a great way to meet girls and get laid!  Since the demonstrators aren’t working, they must be....... doggiestyle

  8. Doc, you bring up a good point.  My wife and I were watching the 5 o’clock news this past Monday.  They were bringing “live coverage” of the start of the immigration protest/march, followed by the usual “live shot” of the 5 o’clock rush hour traffic.

I couldn’t help but make the observation that the “legal” immigrants were the ones getting off from work and getting stuck in rush hour traffic while the ones at the protest must be...hmmmm?
