Um, I’m a little concerned about what might happen if you let the MMM types into a gun show. It’s a given that they would instigate a dramatic situation, and I don’t know how the regular show attendees would react. I don’t think the Code Pinko types would go down in a hail of bullets, but there could be an extremely vehement reaction to the scene that they are guaranteed to create. Best bet would be to tip off the regular folks ahead of time and give them a couple suggestions. Then when their antics are met with calm reason and informed debate, and nobody on our side loses control, the MMMs will look pretty silly. No matter what they say or do, don’t let them get your goat. Besides, it could have rabies.
Were I in the area, I’d go to the show for sure. Drew458 got it absolutely spot-on! Treat them nicely, as uninformed and uneducated. Be nice. Don’t treat them as simpletons or the enemy, treat them as someone that merely doesn’t know. Have them walk away from this with, at a minimum, a question in their minds as to the validity of what they’ve been brainwashed to believe. That gun-people are simple bubbas who simply don’t see the wonders of the sheeple they aspire to be.
I’ve introduced a few non gun people to gun shows. They have always been surprised how polite and civil everyone is.
A front end loader to (ahem) interrupt their ‘lie-in’ would be interesting !
