12. All 007s are cool, no matter how lame the story. Gadgets, girls, secret agent stuff; it doesn’t get any better.

    If you had never seen the 60s bond flicks, Austin Powers would not have been as funny.

    If you did not crack up at the International Man of Mystery, never mind, you just don’t get it.

13. Bring back Timothy Dalton...

    I agree. Maybe it was the scripts but Dalton really kicked butt and took names. Brosnan was a great Remington Steele but he was kind of soft to be Bond. The last couple of films were more sci-fi than spy action. This new guy will need some serious make up.

16. Nah, the best Bond was...the guy...from OHMSS. Should have stayed.

    Bah! Roger Moore was a better Bond than Connery! Much more funny and...stuff. Connery did get better movies, though. Dalton got the best movies. Poor ol’ Brosnan got the crap. Too bad for him. Maybe he can come back as geriatric Bond like Mr. Connery did in Never Say Never Again

17. Oh, maybe I should comment on this guy…

    Is this final? I have been hearing a lot of things, mostly the studio vascillating between this guy and Brosnan.

    Would be a shame for this wanker to be Bond. Looks more like an old-time Bond villian than the Man himself. Like Zarik or Zerik or whoever he was.

18. Dac you are Wahcked. Moore absolutely sucked as Bond. To date I still haven’t seen all of his Bond work. If you look closely at Moore when he shoots, you might see him wince. The wuss was terrified of guys and ruined many a take when he looked away and closed his eyes when shooting. Connery, Dalton and even Brosnan could kill Moore with a LOOK. Lazenby wasn’t Bond long enough to matter. ANd let’s not forget David Niven and Peter Sellers and 4 other “Bonds” in Casino Royale! Classic flick!

    If I got to go to Mr. Roarke and Tattoos Fantasy Island, Secret Agent would be My choice.

    007, Get Smart (ooh...agent 99), Austin Powers, Last Action Hero, The Avengers, The Man From U.N.C.L.E., The Saint, I Spy, Mission Impossible, In Like Flint, Jonny Quest, Harry Tasker (True Lies), Secret Squirrel, Reilly,Ace of Spies, Scully and Moulder, She Spies, The Wild Wild West (Robert Conrad and Ross Martin or Will Smith & Kevin Kline),Men in Black, Hogan’s Heroes, Naked Gun, Spy Hard....& on & on.....All Good Stuff!!!

    Comeon!!! Am I right? It was ALL good at the time, wasn’t it.
