  1. I don’t know what to say save that this is a BEAUTY of a find!

Look at those faces, and to think they were taken over a century and a half- ONE HUNDRED AND FIFTY YEARS- ago literally boggles the mind. Who where they? What were their fates? Who among us will still be viewed by questioning eyes a century and a half in the future?

We shall see. But we must remember them and remember what they did.

Putin, the aggression of your spiritual ancestors did not go unchecked; what makes you think yours will indefinitely?

  2. Got that right. And this time around, we’ll have the ammunition issues all squared away first!

  3. Turtler,
That’s kinda how I feel when I view these old and historic photos of old soldiers. Or ppl from America’s frontier. Or for that matter any old photo of generations past.
When we lived in Riverside,Ca, there was a restaurant close by that we would go to once in awhile for breakfast.  They had HUGE enlarged photos and really I haven’t seen anything blown up that much before, of the old settlers in Riverside in the 1800s. Also street scenes or what passed for streets before paving was used. Just one look at the faces of these people and you got an immediate sense of who and what they were and they were not folks who would stand for the kind of stupid pc we have today.

And that was just the women.
