  1. Actually, ACLU stands for All Communists Love Us!

  2. The donks coddle illegal immigrants because they can VOTE.  For donks!

Illegally, to be sure.  But since when does that matter to donks?  We saw how much they care about it in Washington, Wisconsin ad nauseum.

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again.  Liberals, criminals and scum.  Scum, criminals and liberals!  Where you find one, you find all!  The same old symbiotic relationships, the same old convergence of interests!

  3. The ACLU. Ugh.

ACLU = All Communists and Leninists, UNITE!

I like how everything they devote themselves to involves either illegal aliens (not Americans), removing any mention of Christianity from our society, or protecting a pervert’s “rights” to engage in sex acts with children.

Its unfortunate that part of living in a free society is having groups like this exist.

  4. OCM, true up to a point.  Once hospitals start billing the state/feds and those bureaucrats refuse payment, yes, hospitals will start to take it in the shorts.

But ask yourself this:  how long before those self-same hospitals then start to put pressure on our congress-critters to start ENFORCING THE FUCKING LAW and getting rid of these people so they do not have to eat the expense?

    Money talks.  Bullshit walks.

Which is why medical care needs to stay private.  Soon as it is federalized then every Tom, Dick, and Harry will demand ever more care--at my expense.

You may not give a shit because you don’t pay taxes but I do.  And I am vocal at the Congress-critter level--as are many others who have shitloads more money and are, like me, vocal.

I didn’t ask these illegals to come here.  And I also do not feel responsible for their care.

  5. And your point?

Posted by Vilmar    United States   02/24/2005  at  12:13 PM

  6. Hey, Tannenberg, I hate to burst your bubble of generalities, but let me ask you something...What has the President done to stem the tide of illegals?  Answer:  Not a fucking thing.  Why?  Because the Republicrats and the Demicans both want the illegals for votes.  Step away from the “Dems bad, Reps good” koolaid.  Both parties are fucking us hard on this issue.  I want an “Oil for Illegals” program; then I’ll start believing.

It’s nice that Virginia has done something, but how many illegals do they have to deal with compared to where I used to live in California?  I lived just outside San Diego for the last 12 years, so I know the problem very, very well.

Vilmar, hospitals in SoCal have been taking it in the shorts for so long that many have closed down shop, leaving vast areas of the population with a shortage of trauma centers.

Until the Fed does something about securing our borders, any talk of Homeland Security or national security is a complete fucking joke!  W. claims he has a “mandate?” I’m still waiting… shit

  7. For damn sure we aren’t enforcing the immigration laws we have now, nor are we doing even a half-assed job of patroling our borders, but the move that Virginia is making can only help the situation.  If the lure of free everything for illegals is taken out of the equation, perhaps the flood may be reduced somewhat. Unfortunately the odds are that some liberal fuck in a black robe will find it unconstitutional.
    cool mad

  8. I’ve been waiting and waiting.

Len, you hit it on the head---some fuckwit judge will rule it unconstitutional.

  9. Sorry Vilmar for this long post but I did a search and from a modern AMERICAN English dictionary, I present these definitions......

    il·le·gal ( P ) Pronunciation Key (-lgl)
    Adjective:
    1. Prohibited by law; or contrary to, or in violation of a law; ILLICIT, UNLAWFUL (qv.)
    2. Prohibited by official rules. (as in: an illegal pass in football.)
    3. Unacceptable to, or not performable by a computer. (as in: an illegal operation.)
    Noun: An illegal (immigrant.)
    Adverb: il·legal·ly

    a·li·en ( P ) Pronunciation Key (l-n, lyn)
    Adjective:
    1. Owing political allegiance to another country or government; foreign. (as in: alien residents.)
    2. Belonging to, characteristic of, or constituting another and very different place, society, or person - strange.
    See synonym: foreign.
    3. Dissimilar, inconsistent, or opposed. (as in nature: emotions alien to her temperament.)

    Noun:
    1. An unnaturalized foreign resident of a country. Also called noncitizen - A foreigner, or person born in another country, and therefore not entitled to the rights and privileges of the country where he or she resides.2. A person from another and very different family, people, or place.
    3. A person who is not included in a group; an outsider.
    4. A creature from outer space. (as in: science fiction about an invasion of aliens.
    5. Ecology: An organism, especially a plant or animal, that occurs in or is naturalized in a region to which it is not native.
Transitional verb: [ Law: a·li·ened, a·li·en·ing. To transfer (property) to another; alienate.]

With so much rhetoric I see about illegal aliens on the Internet and in the news, I have a question about your definitions of illegal aliens. Are there degrees of illegality?  I see illegal as something akin to being dead. There are no degrees of dead. (Elvis and Yasser Arafat notwithstanding.) Being alive is different. You can be very alive, half alive, barely alive, won’t last till morning, or near death, etc. - but still alive. It would seem then, that there are no degrees of being dead - are there degrees of (being) illegal?

PROHIBITED BY LAW OR UNLAWFUL. Period. Pretty simple. If you commit an illegal act, you shall suffer whatever punishment the law allows - not be rewarded for being a scofflaw(qv). See also the last bit of alien, noun, No.1 - “not entitled to the rights and privileges of the country where he or she resides.” Combine the two words and you have a two-edged sword hanging over an illegal alien’s head. Right?  Apparently not.

In order for a Canadian citizen to cross the border into the US, we will be asked to produce any or all of - Photo ID (Dr. Lic. or ?), Certificate of Birth or Naturalization, AND preferrably a Valid Passport! And the converse is true as well for Americans coming to Canada. (I might add that since 9/11, to fly anywhere within Canada we must produce any or all of the above as well to the carrier.)

So, can someone please tell me how the hell it is, that illegal aliens in the United States of America, are rewarded with medical coverage, drivers’ licences, voting privilages et al, while they are UNLAWFULLY AT LARGE in a foreign country? I just don’t understand. Maybe because I’m a Canadian and I just don’t understand your definition of illegal alien. Or maybe I’m all wet for wondering. Or almost dry. Or just damp. Or soaking wet.

  10. You’re not wet for wondering, Dan.  It was just my “bubble of generalities” bursting over your head.  Sorry you got splashed.....  wink

PS:  Maybe the flak marksman should read your last paragraph and ask himself just how much “Republicrats” had to do with all those goodies you mention..... tongue laugh

Posted by Tannenberg    United States   02/24/2005  at  09:45 PM

  11. PPS:  And the last time I looked, such impediments to solving this problem as the ACLU, moonbat judges et al were not to be found frolicking in conservative circles..... rasberry

  12. Tannenberg, I was not necessarliy attacking you, my friend.  I just wanted to point out that both parties are at fault here.  Yes, the Left has actively encouaged the illegal situation to flourish, but, by the same token, the Republicans have, by their inaction and silence, enabled it as well.  And that is because both sides will benefit from the votes they can garner from the growing Mexican/Hispanic population which outbreeds the Caucasion population at roughly 3:1.

My points are that, one, “Republican” is not necessarily synonymous with “conservative;” or at least how I define conservative.  Two, don’t be afraid to call your party on the carpet if they are not representing your interests.  To do otherwise is to be an apologist for your party, like Rush or Hannity, both of whom I like for the most part.  That’s all.

  13. Illegitimi, friend, I know you weren’t attacking me.  If I thought you had been, I wouldn’t have been chuckling as I replied.

    Kindest regards.  wink
