Honestly though, caulk: Cool prize. I have to use some of that to block a hole the hornets were using this past year to get in the brick wall of the house. I don’t want a repeat yellowjacket hornet version of LAX airport.

Oooh, I’ve had to deal with those brick wall hornets myself. Hate ‘em. But 2 or 3 puffs of Drione dust shot in the hole just after sundown, and the whole nest is dead, along with all the guard bees who come in at dawn. Then a squirt of caulk will close the hole.
