The desire to make money off of it - is one of the original reasons (also to keep blacks from marrying whites in the South) that the gubment got into marriage licenses and why the anti-gunners want to register/license guns (shh, it is also to build the databases to confiscate guns down the road, too). It is the reason for so many laws/regulations - just to make more money for the congresscritters in dc, so that they can graft off their part before spending more money which requires them to make more money. And so it goes.
Bet if the choir had recited the 5 pillars of islam - nothing would have been done!
Just like Obama - the only real effect of the Federal ‘shutdown’ was Obama’s goons stopping Veterans from visiting their Monuments in DC.
And still some people support this corrupt anti-American traitor.
There should be a clause that NO PERMIT is ever needed to sing the national anthem...EVER. Also, anyone wishing to display an American Flag, may do so at anytime, anywhere. On a shirt in school, on a flagpole in their yard, or plain carry one around to show off. The fact that we now have regulations on these things shows just how far down we have fallen. We stop these things so that others are not offended....WTF. If singing the National Anthem or see the American Flag offends you, then you need to leave...and if you do not leave, you will be made to leave. These are things representing this great land. There needs to be a new rule in place. WWOFFD? What Would Our Founding Fathers Do? They would not be happy at all about what perversion we have made of their great land. They would have stopped, took off their hats, and bowed upon seeing children honor their country.
And I agree, if this was a group of raghead kids singing praises to allah, or a bunch of black kids singing the obama MMM MMM MMM song, nothing would have been done.
I wonder if we will ever return to greatness. Trump has his work cut our for him. For starters, it appears that 47% of the people living here need a lesson in patriotism.
I live in western North Carolina not far from where the kids go to school and I’m confused about lots of what’s going on lately. But I’m not confused about my choice of presidential candidates.
1) A bunch of enthusiastic, Patriotic middle school kids can’t sing our National Anthem as a tribute to the 9-11 victims.
2) Demonstrations are occurring throughout the state, well know performers are cancelling their North Carolina gigs & major companies are threatening to leave the state just because 0.8% of the population who are males by anatomical reality want to go into public Lady’s Bathrooms.
Mr. Trump must become the President in November or this country as I’ve known it for 73+ years is toast!
Unless the guards are terminated with total loss of pension and benefits, the apology is meaningless. PC stupidity should come with a heavy and painful price.
Agree, these individuals are ill-trained, and have a chip on their shoulder just waiting to show others how powerful they are. A bunch of Barney Fife’s all of them. These are the same idiots who shut down all the parks that NEVER had security prior to the govt shutdown. This is nothing but SA Nazi tactics. The govt has forgotten that they work for We The People. They are NOT our betters. They are not there to harass us. They are there to protect us from criminals. There was no crime being committed. Not to mention, anyone can see that this was nothing but a bunch of kids singing for their country...nothing more. Not for money, but pride. The song would have been over in less time it took to chastise these poor kids. Officers have discretion...but these assholes chose to show how tough they are against a bunch of kids. I would like to see these officers get tough when a group of muslims start to chant in the street, and see what happens then.
Our govt has no problem being tough assholes when they are picking on those that believe in peace. let a BLM or islam gathering take place, and these assholes would look the other way. Makes me wonder two things. First, can our country be saved...and second, should it be saved. We let this happen. As the saying goes, “The only thing necessary for evil to triumph, if for good men to do nothing”. We have done nothing for so long, that things have gotten way our of hand. Veterans can’t visit their memorials, kids are not allowed to wear the American Flag on their shirts, the ten commandments are considered offensive, and children are not allowed to sing the national anthem in public. If you went back in time, not just to the time of our Founding Fathers, but even just 30 years ago, people would think I was crazy if I told them what is happening today. But it is reality. This nonsense will NOT stop here, it will only get worse. Before long, you will not be able to go through your day without having broken at least half a dozen laws. Our govt is moving at a record pace to make its everyday citizens criminals. Everything must be first permitted by the govt before one can do something. You can’t sing in public, you can’t plant a tree or dig a hole in your own yard. You can’t say anything offensive or hateful, but must go around being offended by everyone else. We are doomed. I guess we have the govt we deserve. The only way it will change back is through the watering of our liberty tree. Speaking out, and voting have proven quite ineffective. That leaves little else that will work in bringing our country back from the brink.
As it seems all here are on the same page I will say nothing more than"Who is John Galt”.
sdkar - Oh I believe it can be saved - for a number of reasons. But first and foremost is that 80% of Americans don’t trust the Government, that has to include a lot of democrats. (Pew poll). Secondly - most recent Legal Immigrants - don’t like this porous border, h1b visa hiring and other ‘fake’ refugee programs. They did it the right way - and resent and are angry that DC is turning a blind eye to criminal illegal invaders. And lastly the vast ‘silent majority’ has always been way too busy - working hard, raising a family, playing harder and obeying the laws - to get out and be an activist. It goes against their concept of what being an American citizen is about.
And don’t forget - next year after the big o is gone - the tax (40%) on cadillac health plans goes into effect. When combined with the raising fee/tax on the uninsured - Obamacare is going to implode so badly - that basically no one is going to have insurance. Talk about an unintended consequence.
But it has been a long time in coming. Piling one failed (and costly) program on top of another - many redundant. As I’ve said - with The Public Health Service (Indian), VA, Medicaid, Medicare and SCHiP (not to mention Tricare which covers so many military) - who wasn’t being provided (among the ‘po) with some sort of coverage? Just one more lie to go with all the others - to change America from being the greatest experiment in Freedom to another serfdom - indistinguishable from the rest. Especially with a couple of tweeks of the real causes of cost increases - would have worked without these financially unbearable fees/taxes - bravo sierra LIES.
And the really scary thing is that there are two groups now on this OneGlobalWorldOrder march - the ISTS (socialists/communists/fascists) of the World and of course the islamics.
While they will gleefully use each other to advance their cause - part of me wants to be a fly on the wall, if either group gets ‘control’ - because then the ‘eating of their own’ - will be something to watch. And don’t let yourself be fooled all the hug a tree, peace, love and put down your guns Leftists are just as violent, blood thirsty and willing to kill (see abortion for a prime example) as the radical extremists who just happen to be islamic are. It is all about control. And control freaks are the most dangerous people to be around.I do not know how this progressed so far - other than to believe that the ‘other side’ has been cooperating for generations in the gradual destruction of America. Simply by not fighting back - at the very least - or intentionally at worst.
And I think that while the DC congresscritters (both sides) continue to play the game - a lot of America is no longer in the mood to be screwed with a fixed election of whomever DC decides. Not to mention - that being unemployed for a lot of Americans is just not right.
Come on - the blm ‘riots’ are paid activists, the obamaphone woman was a paid activist and I’m sure that a lot of the illegals are being paid to cry about their lot in life. People are beginning to see through the crap, lies and corruption.
Personally I’m hoping that the October surprise is the arrest of Her Royal Clinton - it would make lame duck the big o - scared to death and might help save America during the worst time possible right now. When Obama is both pissed off and unaccountable to even his party.
