What is this guy smoking? Iraq has had hostilities between the factions for decades - that is not a civil war, nor is it of American making. IF America/Britain WERE occupation forces - none of this crappola would be happening. Occupation forces rule with military might - hence the current violence (let me remind all again, 4 out of 18 provinces - not even close to half, let alone a majority of Iraq) is proof positive that America/Britain aren’t ‘occupying’ Iraq. The problems of the Iraq government is also proof that America/Britain aren’t ruling/running Iraq, simply letting them work it amongst themselves - which ironically is exactly what these morons are screaming about, but refuse to acknowledge at all. Don’t agree with the Sunni Saddam sub crap either - that remark does make me agree with dick - is this guy and al-Jezeerah operative?
Well obviously, this guy does not understand history nor the geo political happenings in that part of the World. The US (and others) have worked over and over again to establish some sort of peace between Palestine and Israel which has usually meant Israel lost something and within nanoseconds the Palis attacked again. It reaches a point where even diplomats wonder why even try again. Let Israel keep at Palestine, it at least gives the other Arab countries a momentary pause before they get involved.Heard a great solution to this ‘Iraq situation’ - All coalition forces withdraw to Kurdish sector of Iraq, regroup and rest while building up the peshmerga army to then sweep down into main Iraq and clean up after all the ‘purging’ between the Sunni and Shia. Sounds good to me, gives our soldiers a break from the incessiant violence of the Sunni triangle and just might bring Iraq to to a successful conclusion faster.
BTW for morons like this joker - We won the War, we are struggling in the insurgency. Perhaps if Iran and Syria would mind their own business and stop funneling ‘fighters’ and weapons - we could pack up and go home. Which makes one wonder why they are prolonging the fight there? Perhaps to be already ‘established’ in Iraq (works especially with the lunatic left screeding to leave before the whole job is finished) or because these really are al-Qaeda fighting the US anywhere/everywhere they can?
Glad however, to see even in their anti-war stance the dems are turning on themselves - should be an interesting 2 years. Lets just hope that the moderate dems, repubs and indys garner enough votes to keep the lunatic left under control.
