Father killed for challenging gang of youths
Sadly, this isn’t the first time this year an outrage like this has occurred. I don’t know where this poor guy got the courage from to confront a gang of drunken bastards, unarmed, in view of constant reports of this nature. This is the current state of law and disorder here, where a citizen isn’t even allowed pepper spray. But maybe easy bought spray isn’t a great idea considering how quick punks are to use whatever’s at hand. I don’t pretend to have any deep thoughts or answers except to say I really do believe citizens should be well armed to protect life,limb and property.

Stop. Add Chlorine to the gene pool now. The state Britain has allowed itself to assume is madness, and must be stopped. How long before Occams Razor comes full cycle? By necessity.
Where are the police in Britain? So everyone is unarmed and effectively (if not technically) neutered - and the result is that gangs and thugs run amok? He was wrong to go out unarmed to confront the gang - even if he was right to confront them. But to stand there and do nothing - call the British equivalent of 911 - run and get a baseball bat, start knocking one doors - scream, do something.
But that is what happens when the nanny state takes away the right to defend oneself - the next generation can not even think of how to stop violence when it occurs.
What a shame -
Trying hard not to be a cynic, but I am almost surprised that the courts are even prosecuting these yobs. And if convicted, what will they get? Two years, maybe three?
I think it’s high time Merry Old England put the gibbet back in use at Execution Dock.

People of Britannia, I pray you all, look at the actual historic build up to the events in the New World of 1770 to 1776 or thereabouts and act accordingly.
Damn. More proof that disarming the general citizenry only leads to bloodshed. I hope the idiots in charge over there realize this before any other innocents die trying to protect their homes, families, and property. Not very damned likely though.
And I wouldn’t be surprised if there are quite a few people improvising weapons from household items. I certainly would be if I was in that kind of situation.
Had he lived the bobbys would have charged him with causing a riot and disorderly conduct. I’m surprised they didn’t slap the cuffs on his family.
Where are the self righteous politicians who stood up in Parliament and declared that British Subjects should not ever take the law into their own hands and defend themselves against street punks? Where are the judges who have upheld that law? Oh yeah, they’re Subjects, not Citizens.
Improvised weaponry is illegal too. Some years ago there was an old lady who defended herself against a purse snatcher with a knitting needle. Guess who went to jail? It’s all like something out of Alice in Wonderland. No actual connection to reality.
Orion is right. In this insane country there no longer appears to be the ability to defend one’s self or property. Dr. Jeff the Judiciary here are some of the biggest criminals. The judges are totally divorced from reality. The police are by and large disgusted with this but their marxist masters make them work this way.
I predict in the next decade Britain will be in a civil war. Here’s an example for you from my own field. A guy shows up who is known to us as a trafficker of women for sexual exploitation. He has an illegal with him a young woman. Now this dirtbag isn’t British, he is from an Eastern European shithole and has a Roma background (gypsy) but he has been in Britain for nearly a decade, having claimed asylum (the claim was rejected, but he was never kicked out. Such is the incompetence of the Home Office. He lives on welfare (disability benefit) but we know he is involved in criminality, he send thousands of pounds every month back to his home country. Now if it was your country what would you do? Kick him into touch? The reality is we can’t do this as he is “European” and has a right to come here and do as he likes.
For every Polish etc. worker that comes here to better his life, there are probably another ten deadbeats who intend to steal from us and collect welfare and we just bend over and take it. Me I have had enough and plan to get out soon, as for the rest I feel sorry for them, but many of them voted for this shower of criminals. Personally I think the Labour governemt should be put on trial for treason. They have wrecked what was once a decent place to live in the name of marxism/socialism.
The cops can’t be everywhere. It only took a minute for those punks to kill that man. If only his family had a shotgun or handgun in the house.
