  1. Can’t remember the movie, but there was a British crime movie where one of the conspirators was Scottish and each scene with him ended by his leaving and the British criminals trying to figure out what he said.

  2. lol, that sounds more like a crime comedy.
    Really, many of them are totally incomprehensible. I dread having to call some places for fear of ending up at a call center in Scotland. Even India is better. Usually.Oh, and believe it or not, some Irish are the same. Till we moved here 6 years ago, I’d have never guessed that.  When I bought my pc, the sale cntr was in Ireland. Oh boy. What a shock that was. Had to get Dell to give me another number where understandable English was spoken before I’d buy.

  3. Just did some work this summer at a call center in Dublin. Even the Irish and English there dreaded getting calls from Scotland! This was exacerbated because the call were for X-Box support, so the chances of getting an jabbering irate gamer were very high!
