eye candy for tuesday

 

1. Way back around 1977 I saw her in Play Boy magazine.

   Man, if you look really close she’s way hairy. And she’s not a blonde either.

   The Playboy spread showed her as a dark haired girl with unshaven arm pits and UGH, she had more hair hanging down than me.

   I, personally, don’t like hairy ladies. Even if they shave. Before I got married I was even considering joining alopecia anonymous just to find a young lady, but it didn’t work out.

   Yeah I’m with you on the hair thing. I never saw the Playboy issue you refer to but based on your comment I’m not sure I’d want to.
   Btw ... I never knew she wasn’t a blonde.  Was never a fan but couldn’t avoid seeing her as she was everywhere to be seen. I know some will argue the point against me but, I always thought Madonna as so many other so called “talents” was more exhibition then actual talent. Their genius, or talent if you prefer, was in self promotion.  She doesn’t have a bad voice, she can sing on key etc., but think about it. Given that, without the sexy image and without the dancers and the bumps and grinds, would her voice alone have carried her to fame and riches? I tend to think not but then that’s just me.  Fans will of course point to her records sales, as they do with Wacko Jacko and others.  But those figures are so easy to suss out when you know how the industry works. And take in the buying power of kids in the modern buying market that previous generations didn’t have.
   Didn’t mean to rant.  Happens when I get to thinking about things related to show and music business. And talent or lack thereof.

   Hey ... clear something up for me. You said,

6. No worries, Peiper.  Madonna has always rubbed my fur the wrong way ever since she burst onto the music scene.  I can’t put my finger on it, but if she shows up on TV, I can’t grab the remote fast enough to change the channel.
