1. Ack, those Indians are such hypocrites.

   The country that practically invented porn. Certainly the one that invented the sex manual, the tube top, the g-string, high heels, and was doing naughty statues and engravings ages before the Chinese, Japanese, or Europeans were.

   Yet somehow they have all this implied chastity in their films, and all their pretty actresses and actors running around in not much clothing at all ... but let one show a tip of nip or lower lip and it’s stoning time.

   Yeah right. And 1.5 BILLION of them ... all happily humping away, but only AFTER being properly married and virginal and never being too sexy or anything in public. Riiiiight.

   No surprise. They’re still into arranged marriages and other forms of keeping young women down, even the ones who move here but cant’ quite leave the desi community fully behind. Good grief, years ago we got invited to some ceremony one recently married young couple had. We worked with the woman. Very pretty, independent, came over here as a baby and grew up in America. Went her own way, even dated freely, but then her family picked out her husband. And that was that. It was a very strange religious event to us, held in their house, and though she was happy to have done to the ceremony to make peace with her MIL and other in-laws, from the outside looking in we saw her symbolically fetching water and other servile behavior for the in-laws, only to be symbolically beaten and slapped about by them. 3 lines of red make-up laid on across each cheek. In other words, a religious ceremony to put her in her place forever… at the bottom of the pile. “But it’s not like that!” she told us Monday ... as she then had no free time ever again, always having to go do something for some member of her husband’s family. Of course she was soon pregnant, and after using the corporate baby benefits quit the job shortly after the kid was born and was never seen again by us white folks.

   So for once I’ll accept that “it’s not exploitation when I do it to myself, it’s empowerment” line. Because at least on our side of the ocean women from the Indian culture need liberating, just as much as the ones from the muslim cultures do. And the Chinese culture as well. Too bad for them that the price of such liberation is THROWING THE OLD WORLD CULTURE AWAY ENTIRELY and then becoming an American. Because you can’t have it both ways. So brave up, or be a slave girl. And hope that Hollywood contract Hef worked out for you is real ... cuz your Bollywood days are OVER.

7. Yup Rich, he did. By asking me an infinite number of questions, I had to develop lightning fast research skills. And by his even worse knowledge of Hollywood actresses and popular celebrities than mine, I had to get real good at finding pictures of “you know that girl, the one with the hair, she was in that movie with the guy”.

   But when push came to shove, I put the ID on the House bridge all by myself, and returned a bit of original knowledge to the world that had been lost. That’s my laurel and I’m sitting on it forever.

   Rickvid, relax your security settings and the link will work. Not all web sites in Russia are evil commie infiltrators. Many of them are chock full of giant hi-res graphics.
