Yes those horses are huge - and yes food is their one driving force. They also are unpredictable at times. We had a Percheron - a fast walk was a stretch for him - until he came into view of the barn - and then it was every horse for himself. He also got spooked by a Shetland pony once and ran through the fence.
Pretty horses - but I never have understood the desire to be so competitive about something you have no real input into the end result. That happened ages ago when these horses were developed to carry armor wearing soldiers.
I hear ya there Drew. Window washing aint glamorous but cleanin up after a herd of them ponies gives truth to the fable of hercules and the agien stables.UUUGH
