Another case of Stuck On Stupid?
Defence Minister Ignazio La Russa told reporters: ‘It’s right to take in refugees but it’s also right that Europe should share in this effort.’
As well as the flood of immigrants from Tunisia, almost all of whom are young men seeking work in Europe, Italian officials are deeply concerned that the fighting in Libya could unleash a fresh influx from North Africa.
Nearly 20,000 “refugees” since January on an island the size of a postage stamp? And almost all of them are men?
Can not the Italians recognize an INVASION when one arrives on their shores? Duh. These people are NOT refugees, they are opportunists. Round up some freighters, pack the holds, and SEND THEM BACK.
Amen- here I thought (ok, have been told by the lying media) that they were fighting the evil leader in an attempt to win ‘freedom’ for their country. So I’m to guess that the word is out - that the EU will support them forever and ever without them having to work.
My son said one of the biggest problems in the ME (he lived in Saudi Arabia for a year and was shot at for a year - but did work with the Coalition (whatever that was called) for a while in Iraq) and has also just returned from the ‘Stan) is that the young 20ish men - do not work. Half are considered too privileged to work and half are considered too worthless - and what breeds anger, fear and hostility than being young and just sitting around doing not a damn thing?
Stupid, stupid people who have created their own problems (another typical liberal behavior) and then expecting the adults of the world to give them a handout.
I’m beginning to come down on the side of cut Foreign Aid by 90% - let ‘em all turn to the Chinese for a handout (or the EU or Russia) and see how damn fast the answer is - Get a job or go home.
If we cut Foreign Aid and deported all the illegals we have here - Why we’d be well on our way to fixing the budget, then cut everything by 5% and then start getting rid of the stupid and wasteful Depts that don’t do a damn thing.
Of course - if we really wanted to fix things - how about cutting all the Constitutional Amendments except the Bill of Rights? That would fix everything very, very quickly.
Ah but I dream. Right now - just getting rid of TWMBR and The Won would be the very, very best thing to happen to America.
