EU taxation without representation: but has Britain got what it takes to fight?

 

1. Will the Brits pay? Of course they will!

   WTH, they paid the Danegeld back in the day, they’ll pay this too. And get nothing from it. Because anything else would be rebellion and require the Brits to stand up and quit the EU. And then throw it all out, and go back to being British. That will never happen.

   The Englishman who said

   “We never pay any one Dane-geld,
   No matter how trifling the cost,
   For the end of that game is oppression and shame,
   And the nation that plays it is lost!”

   Is long, long dead.

2. It sure is gettin harder and harder to tell the difference between the EU and the old soviet union.
