One other thought, America has a rather long history of xenophobia with a good bit of racism thrown in the mix (I didn’t say it was ideal, just stating reality). I wonder when the reaction to these demonstrations is going to set in? I also wonder What Mecha and The Nation of Aztlan are going to do?
They can’t get out of the Union, Texas already tried that and boys from Iowa set them straight in 1865.

Here’s a “golden” business opportunuty: manufacture mexi-flag toilet paper. I would imagine that it would sell VERY well nowadays
President Bush is down there with President Fox - he should just say - - either we cut off all aid to your country and call in your debts to us OR we take all the healthcare, education, criminal justice, and public assistance costs that your illegals are sucking out of our system and then each bus ticket home until they are all gone.
Money talks - enforce fines to businesses that hire illegals and take what they are sucking out of our system away from Mexico.
Probably using just what we save from not double printing in Spanish we will be able to build an inpenetrable wall or fence system.
Yes this country is built on immagrants, but that doesn’t mean we need to automatically hold out our border to anyone who wants to cross it for any reason. If you can not or will not take the time to fill out paperwork or whatever is needed to cross legally - why do we want you here???? If you don’t respect one law - what makes anyone in the US think that they will respect any other laws? The same goes for people who employ illegals. And as we allow laws to be broken, why make any more on the same issue OR worse on any issue? It can and will get completely out of hand - and as evidenced by the completely lame excuses for keeping illeglals here and the flags, protesting and skipping schools etc - we are on the way to a system failure. Time to get tough - actually long past time to get tough.
Did you hear President Fox actually imply that we might take (or have taken) the step of shooting illegals (he calls them migrants)??? [I think he was talking with Sean Hannity]
