Empty Holster Week

 

1. This is a better form of protest than that Hamline kid’s almost-out-of-control emails last week. But I wonder: since the protest won’t accomplish a thing, will students wearing their empty holsters simply be marking themselves as “nutjobs” relative to campus real-politik? Heehee - if I were on campus I’d think about making my holster out of tinfoil. Just for some nuance.

2. I like it - perfect idea to get the message across.  However, I’m with Drew, how many campus administrators are going to take the empty holster as an implied threat of firearms violence and take action against the students, either immediately or at some point in the future?  In a saner era, that wouldn’t happen, but in these days....

3. VOTE! This liberal insanity has got to go away. We must erode this liberal bs out of our nation, and I think the best way to start sending the message is to get conservatives in power, doing the slap down on the lunatics.
