  1. Who screened him - on his return to America? Aren’t they at fault for letting him pass - cuz I thought I heard that anyone returning to the US from one of these countries was on a 21 day watch quarantine.

But like Immigration laws, Federal Budget requirement laws, and of course Obamacare laws - just another ‘law of the land’ that isn’t enforced or even recognized as in existence.

NYC - the potential for disaster is going to be intriguing to watch.

Are our ‘leaders’ pushing for a ‘reason’ to suspend the election in a couple of weeks or are they that damn stupid/uncaring or both?

I bet we won’t find out until after the election that one or more of these ‘infected’ - weren’t or are dead. Whatever the wizards of this corrupt Administration have decided will allow them to steal the election.

  2. I personally believe the virus is much more contagious than they are telling us.  It may not be airborne in the strictest of definitions but water droplets can travel through the air containing virus particles without the virus itself surviving in the air for long periods of time like it does with the flu.  It can survive for 13 hours on surfaces.  If it is not so dangerous then how are so many highly skilled professionals taking precautions catching it? So we are supposed to remain calm and take only basic precautions when those all suited up in rubber are catching it?

I can believe that the health of those in West Africa are already compromised due to malnutrition, pollution, low standards in public health and cleanliness, etc. I even believe their funeral rites put many at risk.  They wash cadavers by hand, hold a wake in the home, touch, caress, kiss a deceased relative, etc.  There may even be some voodoo like practices where blood is handled in rituals. They certainly have a lot of superstitions and reports of witchcraft, etc.  An infected cadaver is absolutely full of the virus and extremely contagious.  Also the people don’t believe in cremation and consider it taboo.  The government is trying to force cremations but the people are rebelling over the issue.

However, the virus has progressed much further than the poor slums or remote villages, it’s moved into the major cities where the affluent live.  Also these Doctors Without Borders of which 3 from the USA all caught Ebola (there were many more from other nations as well).  These are healthy people, they eat right, they exercise, they are in prime shape; they still got sick!  They may have a higher survival rate simply because of their overall good health and advanced medical care involving dialysis, etc.  I believe the Dallas nurse and the NBC cameraman received transfusions from one of the doctors who was cured with ZMapp as there is no more Zmapp available.  But with all the conflicting reports, who knows what really happened.  Perhaps that wasn’t enough and another experimental drug was used. Another conflicting report seemed to indicate that no drug or transfusion was used and they just got better because of the advanced care and their healthy lifestyles.  So I don’t know what to believe!

The screening is worthless, they are just looking for sick people coming from West Africa.  The real tests will only show a positive when there is an abundance of virus in an infected host.  You have to be pretty darn sick before the test will come back positive.  If you were to seek treatment with a mild fever the test would probably be negative but a couple days later, you could test positive.  The test takes way too long. Even a rushed one takes about 12 hours.  They are working on a better instant test but again, you need to be sick for the test to work.  No one knows precisely when you become contagious and it may vary from person to person.  Many viruses are contagious before you show symptoms.  There are many different strains of Ebola and the more people that spread it only increases the amount of mutation. There is a strain of Ebola carried by apes that certainly is airborne but it’s never been documented to infect a human.

What makes sense is to stop the flights to and from West Africa! Let the military arrange flights for the aid workers.  But what makes sense if you can’t do that is what NY / NJ are doing.  You take anyone who traveled through Ebola infected areas and you stick them in a mandatory quarantine by force if necessary.  You lock them up and you release them after 21 days.  You also isolate them from each other if you can do it.  Cause if you do have a positive in a large group they could have spread it among the crowd.  But even this introduces incredible difficulties.  The nurse they detained recently is screaming bloody murder about how she was treated, “like a criminal”, etc.  But when you have doctors not following the self-imposed 21 day quarantine and potentially putting others at risk; well then a mandatory quarantine makes sense.  It’s still not as good as stopping the damn flights!

There are hundreds of people a week flying to the USA from West Africa with arrivals in all the major international airports!  Over a thousand a month!  There are 13,000 people with US visas and hundreds of people with US passports or allied country passports who can freely travel to the US but they are in West Africa.

As much as I consider Alex Jones (infowars.com) to be a bit of a conspiracy nut, he did have doctors claim that patients went missing from multiple ill-equipped hospitals who had classic symptoms of fever, vomiting, diarrhea, and bleeding from every orifice.  That certainly sounds like a covert CDC team moved them and covered up what happened cause the explanation makes no sense.

I really think this administration is avoiding flight quarantines and closing the borders entirely for political purposes as it would blow a big hole in their amnesty plans.  Every few days there’s a new Ebola patient.  We are nowhere near ready to handle a lot of cases of Ebola.  I can only pray it doesn’t start spreading in the USA, cause when that happens it will be very bad.

The 1911 Spanish Flu was horrific, Ebola as it stands would not be anywhere near as bad by comparison unless it mutates and goes airborne which albeit is unlikely.  Spanish Flu a person could wake up in the morning with a fever and cough and be dead by evening.  That’s how fast the virus destroyed the lung tissue and caused pneumonia so bad they literally drowned in their own mucus.  Apparently, your own immune system caused you to drown so the most healthy died first unlike other outbreaks where the elderly and young died.  Those that were immune were the only ones left alive.  There was a study where they dug up corpses in Siberia where victims were buried in the permafrost and they actually extracted live samples of the original virus preserved in the frozen lungs of the victims.  Those samples are in multiple labs around the world for testing.  It was after WWI when there was extensive travel of soldiers, refugees, etc. that all contributed to the spread of the virus.  In NYC where immigrants lived 10 people to a one bedroom apartment the bodies were piled up on the streets.
