4. A previous member’s posting is correct.  Here is the rule with the MSM:

   Liberal Democrat is the default position.  Any other political persuasion needs to be identified and explained.

   For example, if a reporter interviews Zefram Cochrane, it is not necessary to identify Zephram as a human being born on earth.  If, however, Zefram is from Alpha Centauri then an explanation is needed.
