  1. Noisy lunch?  Aw c’mon now, didn’t you have a good time?  How about déjeuner animé?

Funny how some things stick in your mind.  It’s been more than forty-five years since I took French, and I’ve never used more than a few words of it since then, but our teacher referred to us “trop bruyant”.  Can’t imagine why, but “bruyant” has stayed with me.  Maybe because it is a bit similar to “brilliant”, which of course we all thought we were.

  2. That’s French, right? question

Barb is too bueatiful with her Marines T-Shirt.

Skipper your sexual response is understandable.  playboy

  3. Dick, you win the prize. Yes, I had a wonderful time. The “noise” refers to the restaurant, not so much the conversation. The one thing I dislike about large high volume restaurants like TGI Fridays is the constant roar of conversations around you. They never build those restaurants with decent acoustic artifacts. The food is always great but the noise is constant.

Barb was indeed a distraction from that and, inspite of my ribbing her, it helped to make for a great meal.

  5. Yep, I recognized lunch and almost bought the self entrapment of brilliant rather than noisy. How about boisterous?

Are you saying she was vaccinated with a gramophone needle? LOL Yes, I know that’s an outdated phrase, but stereo cartridge just doesn’t seem right. Oh wait, they don’t make records any more? ... er ... zapped by a CD laser? Nah, I’ll stick with what I had.

Now when are some of you going to show up in my part of the world?  Always a welcome mat at my door.
