  1. Oh my aching ASS!!!  How can someone who just writes a scary story be charged with a crime?  Doesn’t crime necessitate action of some sort or is this really 1984 and the thought police are here in force?

  2. I guess Poe would be in deep shit, eh?

I find this story “disturbing.” Can I have them arrested for disorderly thinking?

  3. A month in jail for pulling a fire alarm, or pranking 911?! This place was already in the loony bin; the only way for them to go was down (you really see liberal bed-wetters like this getting better laws?).

These are the same people who are bemoaning the overcrowded jails and prisons, and thusly are for letting child molesters and other monsters out way early…

  4. Actually both over-reactions in this story, by the stupid school systems is what (I believe) helped my son along his road of self-destruction. He said ‘I’m going to kill you.’ to a kid the day after Columbine and was suspended - the next day, the same school suspended 32 kids. [Kids are a lot smarter than liberals, they see suspension as a school vacation, not as a punishment] And in his freshman year he wrote a couple of disturbing pieces in an English assignment ‘the A to Z of me’ (H was Hate for example) - his teacher wrote - although a couple of students were upset I told the whole class when he becomes the next Stephen King or Wes Craven remember you can say I knew him when. . .however it was required to report to the head of the English dept who went balistic (I spoke the next day with the Vice Principal, Principal, and Social Worker - who agreed with his teacher and I that it wasn’t that bad). . .the next year (he had a teacher for two classes who despised him) he was a gonner - barely lasted into the second quarter before his suicide attempt.

PC police crap is not going to eradicate evil, violence, hatred, and wrong from the World - it will just push the vulnerable to suicide or murder and the preditor into thug behavior. Just take a look around. . .but I keep forgetting, with libs it is all about their good intentions - never about the pathetic results and the damage caused.

  5. Did any of these clowns think that maybe the kid was scamming them?

Students are always pulling stuff like this.  Anyone really talk to these kids, one-on-one?  Counselors and Administrators eat this stuff up because it makes them look like heroes to the Central Office.

Meanwhile, those of us who really do the business of the School District continue to labor on the best we can.

  6. Oh, for FRAKS sake! I want to read this kids stuff now! Can you say stupid sh*t? I knew you could. When the kid finally writes a book, I’ll buy it. Bloody hell.

  7. If this were the 60’s would they persecute the kids on Art Linkletters show? Kids say and write the darnedest things.

  8. I’m more afraid of the long-term ramifications of this than anything else.  If the Dimmocrats can punish a student for a ‘disturbing’ (nice catchall description for anything the Loony Left doesn’t like, eh?) school essay, what’s to stop them from punishing the composition and/or sale of ‘disturbing’ or ‘socially harmful’(read “Conservative” or “Sane") materials nationwide?

Oh, and I’d like to actually read his essay - It can’t be worse than some of the drivel that winds up in all too many English courses.

  9. "I read this one about all the teachers and lawyers being taken out and shot. Disturbing as hell, “

    disturbing ???

i always thought this was the one thing marx (lenin ??) got right..

  10. It would help to actually see what the kid wrote.

  11. HP Lovecraft
    Eager Allen Poe
    Steven King

All of the above have written things that if they had personally done them, would have resulted in some serious jail time.  Lovecraft wrote about monsters beneath the bed and killing those monsters.  Poe wrote about poisoning a cask of wine and inviting his enemy over for a drink.  Poe also wrote about animal abuse, murder, torture, etc.  King writes about murder, monsters, vendettas, stalkings, etc.  We’re rapidly becoming a nation of ninnies who will rapidly begin banning written works of horror because of the mind of the person who put pen to paper.

Want to see darkness?  Lift up the rock liberals currently hide under and you will see things that are only in your worst nightmares.
