1. When I was working in Taiwan, every week end the grave robbers operating on mainland China would bring their latest finds over to the local flea market in Khaoshung. Bought a couple of interesting pieces of jade there…

2. Lucky you. I never got a chance to visit there but have always been fascinated by Taiwan and the mainland.  We had a friend who visited many years ago. Back in the days of 35mm film. She spent I think it was a month over there, (mainland) took pix and all ruined when she got home.
