One itty, bitty correction -
At some military funerals in America, this group has been driven off by the presence of armed and patriotic Hells Angels
The group is called Patriot Guard Riders - a lot of them are former military - but mostly they simply respect the mililtary. They have been at three local funerals (well, I will say the two local military funerals I’ve been to - SSG Matt Maupin, LCPL Tim Roos and PVT Andrew Whitacre).
The WBC wackos were here at SSG Matt Maupin’s funeral - sadly I had already been inside (thought it would be best to get a seat early) and the cowards left before everyone came out.
I do not respect WBC at all - they are not protesting those whom they ‘claim’ they dispise (homosexuals - try San Fransisco, I hear they have a large popluation of them, or maybe DC where those CrapWeasels are attempting to pass laws giving them ‘equal’ rights) but rather chose a vulnerable and volatile situation to set up the victims as the perpetrators. In the military, a person subordinate to someone can get off of an attack of a person superior - it is called ‘provoking words and gestures’ - justifibly stating that the ‘victim’ can in realty be the protagonist. Sadly our criminal justice system has become so skewed toward criminal rights - these lawyers (yes the majority of the adults are lawyers) in protest can win when someone attacks (a brother spent the day in jail, rather than at his brothers funeral for hitting one of these goons). However, a father, Snyder I believe was his name, sued them and won - so people are now starting to use their own game against them -
Britain - remember that as these vermin descends upon you - don’t hit ‘em, don’t cuss ‘em out (besides these KS inbred (and they are all ‘family’) idiots don’t have a clue what bloody means), when they start protesting - have someone hand them packages of what we Americans call cigerettes (really will take them down a notch), and if things get really heated up - SUE THE PANTS OFF THEM.
I’m a Patriot Guard Rider and I resent you calling us Hell’s Angels. We have nothing to do with that scum. Just because most of us ride motorcycles doesn’t mean we’re some outlaw biker gang. We’re normal Americans from all walks of life coming together for a patriotic cause.
PGR started as a shield between the WBC loonies and the families of the honored dead but our mission is to honor those who gave their lives for us.

Single stack - I know and have shaken hands with many Patriot Guard Riders - you are not doing them a favor with your rude comment - you could have made your point (as I attempted to do) without the nastiness.
Peiper is living in England - what does he know of your Group - and now you have given him and all BMEWS readers a really bad taste of it. One can be upset and correct without being nasty.
For those reading - from what I know of PGR and many other motorcycle groups (there is a massive ride in December to Galveston Burns Institute (the Shriners Burn Hospital) to drop off gifts to the children for Christmas - they are good people. Every group has some who do not represent them well in public.

There were some guys wearing Hells Angels jackets that were shown in the report.

So NO comparison was made or intended.Re. muslims. Yeah they are a problem for sure and it will get worse. But what I was trying to convey is the fact that this other loony tune group of self serving lunatic lawyers may be small in numbers now, but if they aren’t watched or controlled there is every chance they can grow and embed themselves into whatever is left of this culture.
My hatred of them stems from the reports I saw with regard to showing up at the funerals of fallen GIs. That really got to me in a big way. I have trouble describing them in a civilized manner. I don’t even regard them as human and killing them, to me, would not be at all like taking a human life.
I don’t regard homosexuality as something normal, I really do think that’s rather queer behavior but I don’t feel any hate to those folks for whatever their personal life is.
However, I am tired of the in your face queer pride parades and the idea that I MUST accept their lifestyle as normal or face having to go through one of those bizarre sensitivity bull shit programs.
Having said that, I don’t want to kill them and this group of self appointed messengers of God are I think, a very real threat to our country. I rate em right up there with the aclu who I’ve NO love for either.Sorry for the misunderstanding. Had I known about that other group I would certainly have mentioned them.

What the fluck kind of person would protest at a funeral for a fallen soldier? I’m with ya on that peiper, what a time to do some mowindown of the stains, if you get my drift.
The WBC is nearly as sick as the Islamists. Even though they aren’t given to cutting off heads and such, they are just as much our enemies as the Islamists. Fortunately, they are a fairly small and isolated group. No one seems to like the WBC, not even people who dislike homosexuals.
The church from Topeka, Kansas is mainly composed of relatives of the founder, pastor Fred Phelps, who style themselves “the most hated family in America”.
As far as I know, they choose the funerals of fallen soldiers because it gets more attention. They do not care for the honor of the men and women who have given their lives for our country. They do not care about the grief they cause the bereaved families. They care only about putting on an obscene display of intolerance. I always understood that Christian belief states that while you may hate the sin, you are to love the sinner. By that standard, the WBC isn’t Christian.
Their core belief – that God will punish the West for its acceptance of homosexuality – has seen them protest at dozens of servicemen’s funerals brandishing garish placards stating “God hates the USA” and “Thank God for dead soldiers”.
Yeah, their thinking is that sick and twisted. It’s enough to make you favor gay rights.
Do you think that they’ll come into conflict with the Islamists in England or do you think they’ll make common cause of the homosexual issue?
Phreaky phreddy and his whacked out clan started off protesting at the funerals of gays who died of AIDS. Their actions swiftly earned simpathy for the perverts, and the branchless tree clan was driven off by a lack of press.
These whackjhobs are what far left churches look like. Phreaky Phreddy has run for many political positions in Kansas as a dumbascrap.
