  1. Gun sales are down probably because most people are like us - bought last year before the liberals outright banned them and/or are saving as much money as possible before the Obama tax hikes and/or destruction of the economy hits - so that we may survive. About the only important gun we require is a good shotgun. Sadly there is much in front of it in the need money line - tires, dentist, computer parts, and the taxes already on the books.

  2. You can never have enough guns but more important is you can NEVER have enough ammo.

This is a long read but very well worth it.  It’s about the economic collapse in Argentina around 10 years ago.  It’s quite enlightening and it could happen here.

  3. Ammo is a monthly purchase.. A box of .303 British when I go to Walmart, a case of 12 gauge shells when I go to K Mart. I save my best purchases for April 15. This year was a sweet little .44 bulldog, with plans for a 4th .45 next year, if I can still buy one, and .22 is usually at the local fishing/hunting store, since he sells for less than both.

I can fire 2 .45s at once, but I always have extras in case of mechanical trouble, or a spare for a buddy, or the long rifles for distance, and the 12 gauges are one at a time, but with the 3 I have, I can fire 18 shots by swapping them, hopefully buying time to reload, or have someone else reload for me if they can’t shoot.

Spares are good. Extra ammo to reload with so you don’t have to use your prized .303 Enfield sniper rifle as a club? Priceless. (Anyhow, one may break the scope they scrimped for 3 months to buy and have mounts installed.)

    Just thinking..
    Bill
