  1. Maybe he had swedish meatballs for lunch, or maybe he and Mrs Whore broke out some swedish erotica. The possibilities are endless.

  2. My wife has regular birthday celebrations with some old friends, who are doctrinaire, stuck-in-the-60’s liberals.  Our present lack of rain is proof of Global Warming.  True, if we had flooding, that would be because of global warming too.  Same for COLD WEATHER—I’ll be goddammed if that isn’t caused by Global Warming.

My question—Just for fun, imagining a fantasy planet without Global Warming, WTF would the weather be like?

  3. Phobos—is the Atlantic current a factor?  Halifax, Nova Scotia and London, England, are both at 45 degrees latitude—the warm water current makes the weathers a lot different.

  4. Now this is what I call an inconvenient truth for the Reverend Al, head minister or perhaps
the almighty god of the religious left and the immoral minority who are doing a pretty good job spreading their heaven and hell scenario on the dopes that aren’t paying attention.

“The greatest challenge facing mankind is the challenge of distinguishing reality from fantasy, truth from propaganda. Perceiving the truth has always been a challenge to mankind, but in the information age (or as I think of it, the disinformation age) it takes on a special urgency and importance.”

  5. Kus: JFK said that, worse that ‘the lie’ is ‘the myth’—persistent, pervasive and false.  And harder to discredit.

  6. And.

  7. Suidae, with the warming effect, the mean temp of earth is about 59F; without any warming effect, it would be about 0F. Gobal warming is actually a good thing.

And in the Global Warming Religion file:

The rain is lasting a bit long here in the PacNW; must be global warming. Some years ago we had a drought bad enough to forbid watering grass or washing cars. Global warming. We had five significant snows a few winters ago. Warming. Last year was fairly warm winter with no snow. Yep, GW. We had bad wind storms a few months ago. Blew a constrcution crane over in Bellevue and killed a Microsoft guy in his own apartment. Cause of the winds: GWB. Yep. We had floods about 7 years ago. Terrible. Rained so long even we Seattleites were getting water woozy. It was all GW Bush’s fault. Mt. St Helens blew up a few decades ago. Bush’s fault. Pompey and Herculenium were buried by Mt. Vesuvius. Bush made it happen. Dinosaurs all died off when a big meteor hit around the Yucatan. The vast right wing conspiracy has supressed all the photos, using the Patriot (spit) Act, that showed the Halliburton logo on the meteor.

See, its all in the 9/11 Truther stuff. Elect Ron Paul! Heeeeyyyyaaaaahhhhhh!

    Need my valium.
