  1. This guy’s only been in power for 4 days, and already I’m at the point of having REAL trouble in continuing to respect the office, because I can’t respect the man who is IN office.

The government telling me who I should and should not listen to?  I.  Don’t.  Think.  So.

The only one here I’m not going to listen to is a greenhorn President who thinks he can rule like a King.

In other news, has anyone seen this asshattery from the House of Representatives?:
H.R.45 - Blair Holt’s Firearm Licensing and Record of Sale Act of 2009 (Introduced in House)

  2. How Lincolnesque of him to be so inclusive and all. Yes he gang won and they rule the roost. And now its all in thier lap. Nice of them to give all opposition a 2+2? vacation from responsiblity for anything that happens from here on out dont you think?

  3. We are soooo fucked.

I’m gonna permanently hotkey the statement “We are soooo fucked.” on my PC (cntl F), because I will be using it daily for the next 4 friggin’ years - or until we by-fuckin’-Circe recall the sumbitch.

Can we recall him with a special election - like a Governor? - Or is the only way to impeach and then CONVICT him to get rid of his sorry ass?

  4. I have no idea who or what the hell Blair Holt is, but this monsterous POS has been introduced by another third rate MF from the South side of Chicago name Bobby Rush. He shares the same spotless record as the rest of the thugs from Ill-a-noie.

“Bobby Lee Rush (born November 23, 1946) is an American politician from Illinois. A Democrat, he has served in the United States House of Representatives as the member from Illinois’ 1st congressional district since 1993. Rush’s district is located principally on the South Side of Chicago. It is a minority-majority district and has a higher percentage of African Americans (65%) than any other congressional district in the nation. Rush has the distinction of being the only person to date to defeat President Barack Obama in an election for public office.

Rush is a member of the Congressional Black Caucus, as well as a former member and founder of the Illinois chapter of the Black Panther Party.”

Holy Fuck, is there no end to these miserable bastards!

  5. There is a way to fight ‘city hall’ if you will and end up benefitting all in the end - join a group - NRA, local (Buckeye Firearms Assn. for me), Right to Life, your local church that you attend. They benefit from your donations/dues/participation, you benefit from ‘putting your money where your mouth is’, the ‘polls’ which the liberals use to drive their agendas (and lives) get skewed backward toward a more sane (and realistic) position and the politicians (who also run their lives and votes by which ‘group’ has the bigger numbers) will begin to see that indeed 51% of Americans are not kool-aid drinking ignorant barking moonbats.

My hubby & I are going for our CCL - make a statement. Anyway - we have donated less than $200 this past year (which is like a 150% increase for us) it did not go to the RNC, certainly not to Whatshisname who was soiling our ticket - it went to grassroots groups that are actually doing something positive to fix this Nation, change it back into a Constitutional Republic and get rid of these thug, agenda-driven, get even Typical Political Hacks.

  6. With my two cents, I don’t think he is a dictator wannabe, at least not yet. Bombastic people just like to toot their own horn. And while that is not a pleasant thing to witness, it must be said that it is a leap of no small distance from being self-centered and being a tyrant.

And even if he does, in the future, turn out to be known as the man who stained the Presidency with the blood of his victims and the stench of despotism (remember, this is a BIG IF), he almost certainly isn’t thinking about it seriously yet.

Ultimately (to play devil’s advocate) the Obamafuhrer talk going around strikes me in the same vein as those who believed Clinton was going to orchestrate a coup (which, for whatever his MANY faults, he DID NOT do, and there is little to no evidence that he even considered the idea): A combination of justified fear and unease coupled with the dark paranoia of those who have just suffered a reverse.

You know, kind of like the BusHitler tripe, only microscopically more justified.

That being said, even if he is not an American Mugabe, that doesn’t mean he isn’t an arse with shady (to put it LIGHTLY) connections and an inflated ego.

I can only hope that exposure to reality and the heat of the battle line tames or eliminates those issues (take a look at FDR prewar and during the war, and you can see that he became far more grounded and less partisan then he was before).

If not, we are going to be in trouble.

And more likely from his LACK of competence then from his competence as a dictator.

  7. I’ll go along with the inflated ego and neener neener comments.  He’s acting exactly like the liberals I’ve dealt with in recent years.  Somewhere along the line, the concept of a democratic republic seems to have gone missing.  The idea of comparing and contrasting ideas has just gone down the toilet.  The idea that ANYONE should be told to ignore a leading commentator because the commentator doesn’t follow the party line is sickening.  It’s not even so much the idea of Obama as dictator, as the idea that any amount of dictatorship might be acceptable.

My question is when, if ever, will any significant number of liberals come to see and understand the problem that they have created.  The entire group think with its claim to enlightenment is an intrinsic problem.  When this is combined with the the idea that the behavior of citizens should be coerced “for their own good” the aggregate could become a major problem.

When will they understand that when the president publicly states that he will do whatever he wants is arrogance far beyond any President in my memory, which goes back to Eisenhower.  Obama has just demonstrated an arrogance far beyond anything I ever heard from GWB and GWB is supposed to be the liberal gold standard for abuse of power.  Yeah right.
