Deployment Bill Killed

 

1. Maybe someone with legal background might comment - would this bill have violated the Constitution, Article Two, Section Two: “Section 2. The President shall be commander in chief of the Army and Navy of the United States, and of the militia of the several states, when called into the actual service of the United States;...”

Rickvid - Yes and of course that is why Congresscritters who are suffering from BDS are screeding so loud and so often that President Bush is violating the Constitution as a diversion from their continual and blatent violations of the Constitution, reality, rule of law and most importantly the American citizens.

4. Running the military by committee is one of the dumbest things you can do.. it’s ALMOST as bad as micromanaging it…
   Let the pentagon do it’s job, and STOP looking over their shoulders.. ket them finish the freaking job.. This irritates me.
