4. Unusual for Twerp/Barb to be so far off.  With Kerry, one hopes that he votes as seldom as possible.
   Thanks to the above-named person (& to Vilmar earlier) for the praise of my metaphors and images.  But I will confess: whenever I use something that is totally original with me I will 1.  Grasp my ankle in my hand 2. lift my leg high over my head 3. holler “Yahoo!" .  Hasn’t happened yet.

6. Not so overwhelming.  Only about half a dozen Democrats voted for confirmation.  When have that few Republicans ever voted to confirm a Democrat President’s nominee for anything?

   Note that with the exception of Salazar (and Landru??), those voting yes are in conservative states and up for relection in 2006.  Those in liberal states or not up until ‘08 or ‘10 all voted no.

7. Gary, that’s OK because when they vote like this they are doing it out of politically expedient reasons (read: protecting their own hide.)

   All we need is 60 to forever shut these fucks down so until we get 60 republicans, 5 democrats will do just fine.

8. How am I so far off?
   I’m “represented” by two uber-moonbat US senators who voted against Gonzales-Durbin voted against Condi too.
   I’m apologizing on behalf of the captives*draws line through captives*residents of the peoples republic to the rest of the US for those idiots.
