  1. "Impeach all 535 of the bastards and let’s start over with a fresh crop.” My sentiments eggzactly, Skipper, and for quite some time now.  Let’s throw the whole frackin’ bunch of ‘em out in the street, fumigate the place thoroughly and then start over.  Hell, I’m even willing to broaden the scope some just for grins [IRS, lobbyists, etc.] The gummint needs a healthy dose of “We the people.”

    I gotcher back, Skipper.

    Signed,
    A Citizen who’s had enough.

  2. They can get away with it because 50.02% of the population is against the GOP regardless of what they do, and 49% of the population is against war of any kind. Period. Thanks, ya filthy bunch of 60s hippies: we’ve raised generations of Americans who can not think, are afraid to hold opinions for fear of offending anyone, and who have an ostrich mentality regarding world affairs. After all, islamofascism is just another culture, therefore its just as good - if not superior - to our own. We should feel guilty because America is a success and most of the rest of the world is a backwards cesspit. It’s our fault don’t ya know! At least Iraq and Afghanistan had stability under their former regimes; bad us for disrupting those happy kite flying paradises.

    Fargin iceholes!

  3. I think, by the way the dems were caterwalling on domestic issues before the election, that they should have far more imortant things to work on than trying to screw the troops, that they claim to support.  Oh, sure, they did take care of one domestic item right away:  Raising taxes on “big oil” so that you and I have to pay more at the pump.  Yeah, they really showed them (not that the price on a barrel jumped over $5 in trading immediately after they passed it).  F-ing morons.

BTW Russ Feingold is a huge commie, just look at his record.

  4. This just goes to show how psychotic these people are - I watched the end of the General Petraeus confirmation - the same people who were smoozing all over him and wishing him well - knowing full well that they were going to stab him in the back with the ‘brave’ and ‘noble’ nonbinding resolution a few hours later. Feingold is an a** but at least he has stayed on the same side of OIF (wrong) since the get-go. I admire that much more than these morons who don’t have the guts but are more than willing to let more US Military die because they accuse them of torture, rape, in cold blood murder and of course bind an even more insane ROE, waste our taxpayer time and money doing pointless and demeaning to the Military rabble just to make their point that they are more pc and terrorist enabling the next guy (in reality it is just their bds and extreme hatred for President Bush). So much for doing a damn thing for America, the Security of America, civility and bi-partisan politics.

I agree - how as citizens - do we get rid of these lunatics? Only my current Rep (Chabot) is 90% on my side, you should see my email - it’s getting more governmental than military from all the emails I’ve been shooting to these morons. Right now I am (in the Senate) represented by two idiotic and leftist lunatic dems who vote so far left - Feingold loves ‘em. Give you an idea, ole Dennis’Cukcoo’Kucinich is also from the same area. It isn’t called the Mistake on the Lake for no reason - Kucinich is the poster boy for what is wrong with Cleveland. Must be in the water or the school system.

  5. This is the same asshat (along with John McCain) who gave us the McCain-Finegold Campaign Finance Act limiting free speech and allowing the really rich moonbats to further corrupt the election system.

Hope all you so-called conservatives who didn’t vote Republican last November are happy.  This is what you voted for!!

  6. Just in - Pelosi and others are in Iraq - here’s to a sad, tragic and extremely fatal ‘insurgent’ event in the next few hours. But alas, since they’ve been there since Wed, not likely.

I’d root for a copter going down, but I don’t want to see a few decent Americans to die to rid us of a few evil Americans.

  7. Here is another example:

The gop tried to attach legislation raising penalties for employers of illegals.

They refused to do this while they were the majority and now can safely look tough - knowing the dems will shoot it down.

The gop let them in and now the donks will set the table.

Watch and see the charlie seirras in the gop run in 08 as being “tough” in illegals.

    What scum.

    All of them.

  8. Maj. Mike,

Sir, I don’t mean to respectfully disagree, but the republicans have brought this on themselves and the blame sits soley with them.  They have been in a footrace with the dems over who can move to the left faster.  They have left me, I haven’t left them, because I’m in the same spot I was, while they have been shifting left since RWR left the Oval Office.  They need to come back to the right of center and maybe they will get me back, but I don’t see that happening anytime soon.  Because of their run to the left, there really isn’t any difference between the two, anymore, so it doesn’t really matter which one’s in charge.  Remember, McCain-Feingold couldn’t get passed without the republicans and couldn’t get passed into law without the Presidents signature and if I recall, the President, Senate, and House were republican controlled when that happened.

  9. This “Commander In Chief” will get no sympathy from me. In fact I think exactly as the below quote suggests.

“The president worked hard to get a Congress that agrees with him on this and now he’s got it. But we’re still going to fight him on it.”

    ... Rep. Tom Tancredo (R-CO)

  10. Armadefoc - spot on. Now that they’re powerless we see endless posturing ... it’s all BS. They had the power, they let us down. Next primary vote for the challenger. It’s time to let these PUSSIES retire.

MAJMike - I voted the GOP ticket, not that that means anything here in the DNC republik of NJ. Even if the GOP had kept control they would still be acting like democrats. I still think we the people need to take our licks for 2 years to remind us of what real republicans are supposed to be. If you can find one, let me know.

EmOne - LOVE the icon! I’m jealous! No sympathy here either. There are NO conservatives left in the GOP other than Newt, unless you think of them as slightly conservative Democrats. Well, maybe Tancredo, let’s see what he does. Tom Tancredo is exactly right.

  11. MajMike

I can tell you what disgusted conservatives like me DIDN’T vote for since 94.

We didn’t vote for Kelo.  We didn’t vote for open borders and to have our country overrun.  We didn’t vote for out of control, wasteful spending.  We didn’t vote for a party who - even in light of the most disgusting and criminal behaviour - would refuse to police its own ranks.  We didn’t vote for a drunken murderer from Massachusetts to craft our educational system. we didn’t vote to commit men and women in harm’s way and then impose impossible restrictions upon them.

We sure as s**t didn’t vote for an emasculated body who couldn’t even sideline one loser to bring Bolton up for a vote.

This could go on and on.

I did hold my nose and vote GOP.  I am in Virginia, so it was fairly easy.  I DO NOT blame others who couldn’t.

Our country is more important than worrying over which group of criminals are in Washington. They are interchangeable.

One has to admit that while the last bunch had the majority - they sure as hell didn’t do much with it.

Its time for all of them to go.

  12. Anon, while I can respect a person for sticking with their beliefs, I can’t respect them for being an inflexible knothead. Once your country is involved in a war, you get behind it 100% until absolute victory is achieved. No ifs, ands, buts, or that BS “dissent is the highest form of patriotism” crap. Get on board or get off the train. Right now. Choose.

And after all this time, if these guys are still having a Subcommittee on the Constitution, then the only thing they are looking for is what they can get away with. Lawyers don’t respect and revere the law, they only use it as a tool. Fiengold should not need to question a single person. As a Senator he should be a Constitutional Authority in his own right, or else he should not have the job.

Personally I think each and every one of them should have that document memorized, and be able to talk by the hour on what it means and what it doesn’t mean. That would be my minimum hurdle for even being allowed to throw your hat in the ring for a primary. Once elected, if I made the laws it would be an instant and permanent firing offense to move a single piece of legistlation beyond a study group that was knowingly unconstitutional, or to vote in favor of it, or to sign it if you happened to be president. Every one of these folks has sworn an oath to support and uphold the thing, so getting on board bad legislation would cost you your job right on the spot. Thus with McCain/Fiengold and the Kelo decision, under DrewLaw we’d have an entire new government in all three branches.

If you work for some company and you knowingly violate Company Policy you get canned. Same should go for them who runs the government.

Thanks for the words of agreement.

Is there any wonder I have resorted to cleaning my weapons, going to the range, buying more ammo ... cleaning my weapons, going to the range, buying more ammo ... cleaning my weapons, going to the range, buying more ammo ... lol

Doctor said the only hope for me is if Ronald Reagan came back.

    I think I’m a goner.

  14. Drew458: Re Post #2

I think you nailed it here.  “The Greatest Generation” delivered The Republic through two wars and The Great Depression, yeilding the greatest economy and highest standard of living know to man.  What have the “The Hippies” aka “The Worst Generation” done?  They have NEVER been right about ANYTHING.  Their moral relativism has totally destroyed their ability to comprehend evil.  They are a generation of spineless, cowardly, defeatist traitors hell-bent on pulling us all down in the name of ‘equality’.  These fuckers are the Achillies Heel of our democracy, and will be the undoing of our security, liberty, and prosperity.  Unfortunately I see no way forward other than down.  Their spineless stance demands an ass whooping.  They are bending us over and handing out paddles.  Hopefully we can take it, survive the consequences, and go from there.  The price we and our children are going to pay because of them is going to be unneccesarily tremendous.

    Okay, enough gloom and doom.

Skipper, what time does the weekend gallery of hotties come on line?

  17. The ‘baby boomers’ got caught by a couple different things.

    1) The cold war and facing imminent death at the hands of the Soviets.
    2) The cynicism of government failures Korea, McCarthy, Communism, beatniks, etc.
    3) Overloading of the social structure by turning all of those brats loose on society.
    4) Massive amounts of ‘let the kids be kids’ because we suffered during the depression and WWII.
    5) The sexual revolution.
    6) The pill.
    7) LBJ’s (not so)great society program.
    8) Realizing that government doesn’t have all the answers.
    9) Hippies embodying #1-8 and helping destroy some of the fabric of society.
    10) Drug use becoming mainstream.
