  1. Looks like Dr. Summers was right.  This female writer is weak in simple arithmetic, never mind math or statistical study design, and she isn’t so hot in history either.  I never knew, until she enlightened me, that the Declaration of Independence was the law of the land, but has flaws and should be amended.  Methinks the Constitution was ratified a few years before the 19th Amendment was passed as well.

As to her journalism skills, she better keep her day job.  Her text is full of logical disconnects as she bounds from one assumption to another, bootstrapping all the way.  A budding feminazi lawyer no doubt.

My neighbor’s daughter goes to Wellesley and is doing Environmental Studies, and frankly, I can’t stand to listen to her blather about turtle eggs and ozone and stuff, like, you know?

    Barf.

  2. Samantha, put the damn bong down and go to bed, and for Christ’s sake quit writing editorials when your stoned!

  3. Feminist, pah, phooey, all they have managed to acheive is the evolution of a metrosexual male. barf  Gone are the days when a man made a woman feel feminine, and worse now it takes more time for a man to preen than it does a dozen beauty contestants.  .....ffs where has my wax gone shut eye

  4. “....If women were granted these three rights, I doubt that there would be a gender gap in wage earnings, violence against women, unsafe abortions and substantially more women than men in poverty; these ugly realities severely undercut women’s right of life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness....”

I think I’ve missed something there. Must be a guy thing.

  5. Even though my gender is not mentioned by name in the Constitution-I’ve always thought that “men"-refered to me too.
    I’ve always FELT equal.
Silly me. Now I know that I’m just a poor thing being crushed under the yoke of sexism ,misogny, and in inequality.
Thanks to that enlightend female writer I understand now. rolleyes

  6. I guess she missed the fact that the Declaration of Independence is not a legal document as pertains to the governance of this country or the powers afforded to its branches or people?

  7. pffft

    *feminism* rolleyes

I am not one to be *politically correct*

I enjoy being female, and!! feminine.

I like doors being opened for me, being treated like a lady...yada yada yada…

Women, from the *feminist* standpoint have become their own worst enemies..

Femininists want to have their cake, and eat it too rolleyes

Well, no one can have it both ways.

No wonder men are confused in today’s society.

My humble opinion? the demise of the traditional family unit, male- female, *mother* *father* children, large , loving extended family...can be directly correlated back to the feminist movement.

ah.k...*smoothing dress, checking hair*, I’m calm now
    heart
