Watching debates is bad for your health. Problems can include headache and hypertension, hoarseness (from shouting), sore throat (ditto), broken knuckles and toes (from hitting/kicking things), headache . . .
Prescription: 1) turn off debate. 2) have a beer or six.
....and broken tv’s/monitors! we needed real town hall action.
It’s a good thing I wasn’t wearing my sidearm since I was drinking while watching a few times. All in all, McCain won on points, not K.O. Just. Short shot on my site.
I had my computer running and ran from the LR to the ‘office’ to post comments to a fav website - just to vent some of the rage at this mental idiot (and amoral creep) who wants to be POTUS.
What po’d me the most was Obama never, ever slammed the scummy tshirts re: Sarah. At all - not even a simple I do not condone nor endorse such things. He has no guts, no courage, no decency at all.
And to lie and parse his stand on abortion - what a crock.
Oh well, I will just pray that at least 50.1% have at least one functioning brain cell - to prevent this socialist from becoming President.
I mean - there is so much - to pound this guy on but some little things at the edges that to me really makes me wonder exactly who is Obama:
Ayers/ACORN/Rezko/Wright etc - relationships are important - indicate his judgement, his core beliefs and probably his hypocrisy
Abortion - how does anyone let him sit there and lie about his stance - babbling on about mother’s health cannard (although McCain did attempt to squash that one a bit).
His birth - Michelle O kicked back open that door (again) with a comment when she was attacking the African Press International - re that Obama was adopted by his step-father. However, that does create a problem (or at least some more un-answered questions) as Indonesia does not have dual citizenship - so did Obama just take back his Obama name, did he do a legal name change, is it even true - or is this another (once again) ‘just words’ comment?
His college years - What was his standing, how come we can’t see his Thesis, or writings for the HLR, who paid for it - that provides questions as both Obamas state that they ‘just’ paid off college loans but they aren’t on the tax records - which is a lie - their taxes or the ‘just paid off’?
And yes all of these (and more - as it is his African family who are claiming he was born in Africa) - that are important - red herrings, outright lies (which we know isn’t it or Obama would have ads denouncing it) whatever - simply prove it. It is important as Obama wants to be the President of the United States - he should be discounted until such questions are answered - and that is just a small list of questions I have presented.
And that doesn’t even get into his voting record - all 143 days in the US Senate, not to mention his IL Senate days - 130 Present votes - this man has no courage of conviction, no beliefs that he is willing to stand up publicly for.
Yes we really don’t know our Representatives very well - however most of them aren’t this questionable just a few days before being elected to the highest office of the country. Not even slick Willie - we all knew what he was - which if it weren’t for Perot - he’d never have gotten into office at all. And here we are again, a slimy, slick politico on the verge of winning because the msm refuses to even attempt to do it’s job - even half-a**ed.
The only thing that matters is that you get out and cast your votes on election day. The polls, the media, the debates, the predictions: Sound and fury signifying nothing.
Let the chips fall where they may, come election day.
