  1. Well, you had your fun.  Now it’s time to pay the price, isn’t it?

(God, I love sounding like a cruel mother)

Posted by Oink    United States   03/20/2005  at  11:18 AM

  2. More like a mother f______ker. Go away, Oink. I ain’t in the mood.

  3. Any debauche that leaves that much residue is truly championship caliber.  I am in awe.

  4. In intellectual circles we call that a “fruitful ambiguity”. It was deliberate.

I’m not bothering you, am I? Allan? Allan?dickhead  monkey  pig

    The radio is blastin’
    Someone’s knockin’ at the door
    I’m lookin’ at my girlfriend
She’s passed out on the floor
    I seen so many things
    I ain’t never seen before
    Don’t know what it is
I don’t wanna see no more

Mama told me not to come
Mama told me not to come
She said, that ain’t the way to have fun, son
That ain’t the way to have fun, no...

You and OCM can check into detox & rehab at a group rate.

  5. Hope you feel better soon.

Posted by lisar915    United States   03/20/2005  at  11:44 AM

  6. lisar915, I know your intentions are good, but you’re just being a rescuer and an enabler.

  7. Allan, better living through alcohol!

Here is a picture somebody took of you.

    day_aft8.jpg

I have been trying to get you to publish my research on Robotic Internet Firearms for the last several days. Little did I know that you were suffering from acute alcohol posioning. I will go ahead and publish my findings in the comments here. As previously posted at:

    http://www.barking-moonbat.com/index.php/weblog/comments/3873/

Allan, are you going to publish my fine bit of reportage about RIFRAF? I have expended quite a lot of effort and expense to bring this story to the members of BMEWS. To date:

    .  Package of Saltine Crackers = $.69
    .  Can of Vienna Sausages = $1.19
    .  Pint of Bourbon = $8.95
    .  Membership to http://www.live-shot.com = $14.95
    .  Shooting Session = $5.95

I can understand why you might be a bit squeamish on this topic, but your members deserve to know the truth about this new technology.

Anyone who can piss off PETA and the NRA all at the same time is a force to be reckoned with. Stanley

For a report on the actual robotic shooting experience, read here:

  8. Cheer up, old sport.  Minoru Genda, chief air ops officer for Admiral Nagumo, came down with the flu just as the fleet was pulling out of Japan, bound for Midway.  Genda bounced back in time for the battle.

  9. OK, Allan, I’ve got the conn.

    aaa-a-OOOO-gah!  aaa-a-OOOO-gah!  aaa-a-OOOO-gah!

    Dive!  Dive!!

Ready torpedoes in tubes 1 thru 6.

  10. You didn’t check for a green board..... wink

  11. From hangover to the flu, I feel for you sir.

Posted by mt    United States   03/20/2005  at  01:46 PM

  12. Tannenberg, must I point out that the Japanese got their asses kicked in the battle of Midway?

Posted by Oink    United States   03/20/2005  at  01:56 PM

  13. SERIOUS POST ** ALERT **

Sorry about the flu part Allan.  My wife was sicker than hell with it.  She made it worse by “being brave and carrying on”.  A dumb-shit attitude you should avoid.

  14. Don’t kick the man when he’s down. wait till he gets up; it’s more sporting.

Posted by Lucius Severus Pertinax    United States   03/20/2005  at  02:46 PM

  15. Oh. It’s you Allan. Thought I was at the Schiavo page…

If things get really bad, lisar915 seems willing (and able) to get you up again. Maybe your could feel each other and report to us on the differences.

Upon further reflection, the Schiavo reference was probably in bad taste. I hereby withdraw the reference.

    Happy Birthday Hangover Day Allan!

How appropriate! My iTunes is now playing Margaritaville… great timing…

  16. Oink- I’m not gonna need to save your butt again am I ?
Jeez always gettin’ into trouble. rolleyes

Btw-I heard from someone with a TV that they caught a flash of a certain “young lady” singing the National Anthem at yesterday’s counter-protest.
It was on the local cBS affiliate last night.
    *takes bow*

  19. I just saw the video.
    I’m waaay off key-you can’t tell what I’m singing anyway- and I look Jewish-and fat.blech.

Allan/ Vilmar I e-mailed you the video so you can see what we had to deal with.
look for the “singing” four/eyed chick with the little Israeli flag

  20. sounds like somebody’s in training to go back to school.

Best to you and I hope you feel better soon.

  21. “Tannenberg, must I point out that the Japanese got their asses kicked in the battle of Midway?”

Not a bit of it, old sport, I am very well aware of that, and you just helped me make my devious point.  Things may be a mess for the SecWar right now, but what kind of mess will await him when he gets back on duty?
Especially with guys like us running around loose?  tongue laugh

Posted by Tannenberg    United States   03/20/2005  at  08:39 PM

  22. Allan, this is your nurse’s advice- lots of rest, lots of fluids (water, Gatorade - NOT alcohol), Tylenol for the fever, and this too shall pass............This winter I have had more than enough of nausea, vomiting, diarrhea and upper respiratory symtoms coming through my ER..............You would think nobody had ever thrown up or had a cold in their life.............We don’t have a “magic pill” for these symtoms - it’s all viral - we give them some IV fluids, some anti-emetics & send them home, telling them they will still feel lousy for 24-48 hours.........

Posted by Dottie    United States   03/20/2005  at  09:08 PM

  23. Barb, ease up on self.  I wouldn’t care if you put mustard on your crackers. wink tongue rolleye

Posted by Oink    United States   03/20/2005  at  09:59 PM

  24. Oh, Dottie—Allan may be like the patient who got better and then took a turn for the nurse.

Posted by Oink    United States   03/20/2005  at  10:28 PM

  25. You and OCM can check into detox & rehab at a group rate.

OINK ... that is one short memory ya got dude.
No tellin’ what’s gonna happen to yer avatar
    when Allan feels better.

Barb, good for you girl. Nor anchovies!

Allan, take at least 2 grams of vitamin
C every hour and it’ll be gone in 8 hours.
Nobody ever follows my advice ... but it works.

I finally had enough and wrote about Terry Schiavo.
    Made it nice and simple.

Vilmar, how many moonbats do you ‘spect to find
UNDERWATER??? What they got fins now too?

Posted by Steel Turman    United States   03/20/2005  at  10:41 PM

  26. Steel - For shame, shame, shame. Your discounting Greenpeace; the save the whales, sea otters, seals, baby seals, etc groups; vast fields of study in academe concerned with the studies of marine habitat, marine biology, oceanic ecology, etc. Hell, this thread isn’t large enough to list the cornucopia of moonbats practicing their moonbattery either on or under the oceans at any given time.
Encourage Vilmar to sink these moonbats while the doing is good.

Allan get better. If you don’t start feeling better soon, keep drinken the liquor as you will at least feel better temporarily.

Posted by LC Geno    United States   03/21/2005  at  02:06 AM

  27. Yeah your right LCG. There’s a bunch here too. Fire when ready.

Posted by Steel Turman    United States   03/21/2005  at  02:16 AM

  28. Steel. you can never be thorough enough!!!

Posted by Vilmar    United States   03/21/2005  at  05:49 AM

  29. Those who have offered the drink fluids and get plenty of rest option, are spot on.  Get well soon.  The extra vitiman C, if you can keep it down, couldn’t hurt either.
