1. Yes, Crusade is the proper answer to Jihad. Charles the Hammer, where are you now?

   Always always remember that the jihad came first, and that the crusades were counter-actions that didn’t happen until hundreds of years of pisslamic conquest reduced the Christian world to less than a quarter of it’s original size. All of North Africa and Western Asia was Christian. The islamic horde took them, then took over Spain, raided the Vatican, held southern Italy for 400 years until the Normans pushed them out, conquered more than half of France right up to Tours (barely 150 miles SW of Paris), took over the Dalmatian coast and on into Turkey and all of Asia Minor, and intruded into Europe to the very Gates of Vienna. In AUSTRIA.

   Then the white people finally got organized. Sort of. Slightly.

   And don’t ever think that jihad has ended. It’s only taken a break, and now it’s trying a different approach. No need to build up an army to invade when you can just immigrate and then breed.

   And this time the white people invited them in. Stupid white people; they’ll never learn.

2. Goes to my first thought as I watched the second plane hit the Twin Towers on 9/11 - nuke ‘em till they glow Would have been short & sweet - and saved a bigger number of those brave 5656 Troops that have died in OIF/OEF.

3. I would like to remind peiper that Charles Martel was NOT a Crusader. He stopped the usual ‘peaceful religion of Islam’ from ‘peacefully’ converting what is now France from to Islam or else be ‘peacefully’ murdered, beheaded, or otherwise eviscerated.

   But yes, the Crusades were a belated, and ultimately ineffectual, response to several centuries of Muslim aggression against the West. My personal opinion is that we’d all be Muslim if Genghis Kahn and his successors hadn’t ‘distracted’ the Islamic kingdoms.

   Don’t forget; before about 700 AD, northern Africa was Christian! St. Augustine was Bishop of Hippo, in Algeria. Muslims did what Muslims still do: kill Christians and other non-Muslims.

   Interesting side-note: did you know that Vlad Dracul (Dracula) was a Wallachian Prince who heroically opposed Muslim (Ottoman) expansion? Don’t know how he became confused with vampire legends, but his military successes, and ultimate failure, are history.
