1. Ya, I bought a cheap antenna for the tv awhile back and although it said GE on the box it was the most pathetic piece of crap I have ever laid money down on.Did not pick up a single station,and I live in the center of the city. Funny thing is I told the seller this ( Amazon affiliate) and he gave me a full refund.

2. Some years ago I worked for a company that was part of Burmah Castrol who were owned by BP. You know that terrible “British” Petroleum that your maggot of a President insisted on calling them even though its probably 50% US owned. Anyhow this company was being divested by BP so they gave out desktop paper weights that were sourced from China. My job at the time involved sampling our products for heavy metals. I was asked to test this paperweight. The readings for lead went off the scale. It was probably 90% lead with some tin and antimony. This caused quite a bit of embarrassment for the management. In another job I worked in a gun store and we used to get loads of stuff from China. Whenever you unpacked this stuff it all smelled the same. A nasty metallic stink which I can only assume is the filthy air in their industrial heartland. I have nothing against Chinese people but I go out of my way to avoid buying their crap and its not easy.
