  1. -’Miss Faizovaite, who continues to live in Britain, said yesterday: ‘Everyone should get treatment no matter what they’ve done.

‘I wanted to make sure something was done differently in the future.’ ‘-

-’The Legal Services Commission, which hands out legal aid, pointed out that it cannot ban people from getting funding because their cause is unpopular.

A spokesman said: ‘All applicants for legal aid must meet strict financial and legal merits eligibility tests before they are able to access legal aid. Cases must have a good chance of success, raise issues which have a significant wider public interest, be overwhelmingly important to the client, or have significant human rights issues.’ ‘-

Funny how, not a single one of these people 1) had a whits moment of concern for the victim(s) right to life, freedom, embarrassment and humiliation, nor a lifetime (if they live) of fear, guilt, embarrassment and humiliation and 2) any sense of responsibility that they themselves put themselves into the situation (being a criminal/prisoner) that allows society to take away some of their freedom and rights and of course 3) that perhaps if they had just taken it upon themselves to do something/anything meaningful and productive with their life - they wouldn’t be living on the dole and thinking of new and creative ways to screw everyone who is meaningful and productive.

Why next we’ll have one of these stellar citizens suing because just being in prison is a violation of their rights - oh yeah that happens (on the taxpayer’s dime) everyday.

The People’s Republic of Kalifornia just might want to rethink that ‘right’ for prisoners, as lawsuits is their #1 past time activity out there - cutting that scam off at the knees just might save the state a few bucks.

  2. Most of this nonsense would go away if we’d stop creating fake human rights like “The right to be comfortable” and “The right to not be offended by others.” Rather, we should openly mock such ideas, and try to bring those who propose them around to a more sensible position.

  3. It would help if the House of Commons had a few less lawyers in the first place. Legal aid is the first recourse of the scoundrel nowadays. Just ask Mrs. Bliar she has made millions out of it.
