Meanwhile, once again, I blew 60 bucks of gas to go 100 miles and camp last week.  I feel real good about that.  Didn’t think once about all the emissions going out the tail pipe.  Nope, I was heading out to get away from it all.  And I listened to classical music on the way up and back because I can’t stand the garbage these “music celebrities” make and I refuse to support them by buying their crap.  Ran the air conditioner all the way, too.  Ate steak and other animal products while I was there.  Had a BBQ.  Oh, and the 454 hums bass nicely while cruising down the road.  Not a carbon credit in sight....

5. Heh...this reminds me when I lived in the Bay area in the early 90’s and as a result of a severe drought, people were “strongly encouraged” to save water via taking shorter showers and flushing the toilet less often.

   I was scratching out a living, a working peon, and lived in a small apartment, and one of my “luxuries” was a long hot shower at the end of the day.

   Well, as long as I continued to see GREEN (ie well watered) golf courses and well watered yards of the uppercrust, I was not about to give up my “luxury” of a relaxing, long, hot shower…

   Same type of hypocrisy

The correct terms for theses hypocrites are either “Pig Shit Liberals” or “Limousine Liberals”.  All show, no go.  Among those committed to change 35 to 40 years ago, those terms were a cut below what we called the opposition.  At least the opposition was fairly honest about what it was up to.  Those a**holes weren’t.  It’s sickening that such bottom feeders have become a political power.  They stand for nothing save their own aggrandizement and I have come to loathe them.
