  1. He’s lost a bit of his edge I think.  Or maybe I’m just pissed because he quit mere moments after I got hooked on his stuff.  The tv crowd, while they may be conservatives and all, is not like you Steve and as you now know, they are very selective about who gets to be in their club.  Ambition is great.  But sometimes when you risk what you have for what you think you might get, you end up with neither.  Welcome back though.  The little people missed you.

  2. It ain’t over until it’s over and it’s not Nov 3rd yet - even if one person sees this and realizes what we all do here - that the small business is us and America - it will be worth it. And while young conservatives might not be our cup of Tea - we need to keep them close, encourage them and teach them well - as they bring the skeptical, disillusioned and undecided youth with them. Having gone to CPAC two years with my daughter - I got to see these young people in action - and while I am totally flummoxed at their reverence of Ron Paul (he always won the straw poll vote) - they talk life, small government, lower taxes and the Constitution - that’s enough for me.

Today’s struggling young conservative is tomorrow’s intellectual, educated and sane pundit, talk show host or perhaps even the next Rush Limbaugh - we must appreciate them for what they can and hopefully will do in the future.
