Geez just watching that for a minute made my eyes hurt (Course I’m still got some double vision in left eye from the Dec 19 car accident so that sure as hell doesn’t help...)
As for pot smoke, hell I’ve never smoked ANYTHING but I’ve been at a few rock concerts and felt ill from the contact buzz. Nothing against pot smokers here either, but smoking’s just not my thing.
Dude! I’m like having a flashback dude!

“I have a confession to make. I am truly evil when it comes to f**king with dopers. Not that I have a distaste for marijuana or people who smoke it. It’s just that I never developed a need for it. However, I do like entertainment and one of my favorite hobbies is f**king with stoners. Drunks can be almost as much fun.”
Uh huh, yeah, right. Channeling Jerry Garcia these days?
When I was in Danang, there was a bunch of
us getting buzzed on the beach at night.
It was foggy, or I was. Out of the fog came
two figures who were walking in slow motion.
We were just outside the SEAL base. I used
to party with the SEALS when they were in town.
Which wasn’t very often.
Turns out the ‘slow walkers’ were two SEAL
officers screwing with our heads.
Then they sat down and got fired up.
WAR IS HELL, I tell ya.
Old Catman smokes enough for everyone who visits this site.
Oh no he doesn’t.
Wow, a moving M.C. Escher display!!! Farm out...gravy and out of state, man.
I never understood why “straight” people felt the need to try to mess with stoners’ heads, ‘cause the shit never worked on me. Must only work on amatuers because most people cannot tell when I’ve smoked or not.
Truth be told, I turned my best lap time of 1:32 at Willow Springs, only 3 seconds slower than former World Superbike Champion, Eddie Lawson, on his Yoshimura-prepared 1982 Kawasaki. I had just smoked my lunch and was riding my self-prepared 1978 Suzuki. Shit, it felt just like any other practice lap.
.
INC,
Where was Lawson from?
Lawson was born in Upland, CA.
For the geographically challenged, Upland is just outside of San Bernardino, which is about 60 miles east of LA.
Ah, I must have been thinking of Lawill… he was a neighbor when I was a kid.
Whoa! I finally got it, man! If you move you little mouse-thingy over the image it changes perspective!
Farm out and sold it, dude!
Have you all gone to the root site and then selected the flash called relative, clicked in the center and held your mouse button down? It’s a rush.
Excuse me, time to go take my anti-hallucinatories.
HEY DUUUUDE! You’ve scared away my #1 Bitch, my Old Asshole Buddy— the OCM!
OT. But I am compelled to mention ... Allan
is a &@#$% wizard. He might not be a stoner,
but he did stay here last night.
I won’t use ‘naturally high’ but ...
damned if he ain’t
Steel, thanks for the cool link. Mert Lawill was the AMA #1 plate holder in the early 70’s and later went on to be a factory Yamaha tuner for Kenny Roberts’ team. Motorcycle road racing, the original “extreme” sport before the term became over-used by morons who came up with activities that place them at the mercy of gravity, which requires no skill. It is the most fun I have ever had with my clothes on. Life does not begin until you have gone around a corner at 120mph with your knee on the ground! WOOOOOOOOOOHOOOOOOOO!!!!!
Whoa...you don’t even have to be high to have that mess with you…
Pot, a wimpy drug for wimpy people. Now give ‘em some ‘shrooms and a screen with that and you can check back two hours later and find the new messiah.
OCM, Swanson rings a bell, but that is about it. I did have the pleasure of meeting the late, great Don Vesco and Wes Cooley though. Roberts was one of my boyhood heroes, along with another of the late greats, Barry Sheen. Those 2 had some great on-track battles back in the 70’s.
