2. Actually, I’d have to support the police on this one.  She didn’t pay her taxes, something we as a society agree to by living in this country, and she’s actually going to find out that she needs to do that which is socially agreed on.  I like how she says that thing about stamps, seems to show that they’ve sent her several letters (37 cents each means at least 4 letters) telling her that she owed money and she just ignored it.  She could have avoided all of this by sending in $1.16.  Just like if you were to get a speeding ticket for 1 mph over, you’d be breaking the law just like someone going 6 or 11 over.  It’d be annoying, but not really worth a news story about it.

3. I used to live in that part of the country and I swear, Ohio has ALWAYS been anal-retentive. Not as bad as Illinois though.
