Currying favor

 

1. I won’t claim to be a food expert by any stretch of the imagination, but one point in this agrees 100% with something I decided many, many years ago....

   If ya want THE BEST ethnic food, regardless of the ethnicity.... get it from someone who doesn’t speak English.

3. Actually “Thai Food Mary’s” would make a daring name for a restaurant. You also want to open a bar next door called ‘Thai Wun Ahn’, and when those two started making the bucks, you’d open a nightclub in the basement called ‘Satay-sfaction’.

   Though my favoritist name for such an eatery has always been ‘Yes Siam!’.

5. Well if you wanted to use ‘Thai Food Mary’s’ you’d have to get permission from Firesign Theatre, as they thought of it first.
