  1. One more thing to stock up on before the apocalypse. Guns, Ammo & Twinkies! I’m going to buy a box for my grandchildren before they disappear.

  3. It was a conspiracy by “Little Debbie” and her cohorts to increase her market share.
And I think its fairly plain that the teamsters and bakers unions have not been supportive enough of Obambam as the UAW guys. One got bailed out and the others got Boo.
Here is what the tears of Solidarity look like Baker Boys:
    crying 2  crying 2  crying 2  finger  finger  crying 2  crying 2  crying 2

  4. Another icon of my boyhood bites the dust. You’re right. Others should follow that action by the company. The unions are a curse and cause more harm than good in most cases. I hate them with a passion that knows no end. You may recall my problems with same. Now lets see the bastards try and find jobs for all those out on their collective ears. Fuck em all.

Oh .... speaking of strikes. There’s a (the usual commie) union here called Unite.
Never in my wildest would I (or you) have thought that a uman rights activist organization
like the shits at Amnasty Intl would have a union but they do. Read about it yesterday.
They are going on strike next tuesday. Serious stuff and not a joke. Whodda thought?

  5. Eastern Airlines was killed by unions too.  Raising costs and killing jobs is all commUnionists are good for.  May the ALL rot in hell.

  6. Well, I guess I picked the right time to wean myself from snack foods - sorry to see you go, Hostess, glad it was caused by another useless union.

Rot in hell - no - they should be forced to become dental assistants (non-unionized)!

  7. The list is long of what was killed by Unions here in the US. Hostess also bought/make Butterkrust bread. I grew up here and driving the 6th street viaduct into the city you passed the Hudepohl (it’s factory really smelled bad in passing) and next to it was the Butterkrust ‘factory’ - and it smelled heavenly. Along with Kahn’s, GE, and a Ford plant - either at minimum or gone with the wind. Unions alone didn’t kill them, the EPA went wild here and helped it along.

The cascade that will start as the Hostess plant shuts down and all those workers go on unemployment (won’t that just jingle those numbers upward) are NOT the only ones - those buildings go empty and those taxes and/or rents go away, those middle management also get the pink slip - not to mention the little Hostess re-sale stores (skirting the edge of poverty people like me, use those stores to keep some items in their homes). And those employees and then the strip mall owner has an empty store - and either he needs to find a new tenant (good luck in this economy) or he raises the rent on his other tenants to cover - and runs the risk of losing them - and oh yeah, don’t forget the drivers/stockers who now are also out of a job. Because unlike the 70s & 80s when that first wave of killings occurred - the economy now sucks the big one. This is the modern dust bowl - the only difference is that this one is completely moronic Chi-town slimy politico man-made.

And all those people are going to be buying less and less ‘stuff’ since they no longer have a JOB. Thus the entire local economy is going to take another hit. And just wait until all those new Obamataxes hit. It makes me feel all warm and fuzzy.

And also rumors of P&G the eternal stalwart of the Queen City is about to cut down - aren’t making things here look all that rosey.

And still our moronic Mayor is going ahead with the streetcar (to nowhere).

REPEAL, RECALL, IMPEACH, NULLIFY and Line by Line VETO everything that has not been through the House AND Senate on a FULL vote.
