  1. Thanks for reminding us the the devisive, nasty, catfighting partisan politics that we see today, that many people say are the worst in our history, are nothing compared to what has happened in the past. I am pretty sure that the blue states will not go to war with the red states no matter who wins.

  2. And when you get to your bed tonight,
be Sure to Pray to God for George W. Bush and his Re-election.

  3. Bush has got my vote. Whoever is sitting behind the desk in the Oval Office, after all the dust has settled has got my prayers.

  4. WOW! Awesome post Allan. This just proves my theory that this election is nothing new. I was watching Hardball w/ Chris Matthews and they were discussing how this election is different from any other because this war on terrorism is unlike any other in history. In a way I agree but I disagree because war is always the same and for the same reasons. “There is nothing new under the sun”, “what is happening has already happened and will happen again”. I hope that history will repeat itself again in this situation.

  5. I’d love to see a source for the above.  This makes me wonder if it is fake
    --------
A hundred forty years from now, no one will care what we decided.

That smells too fake to be real.  140 from now?
