  1. “There’s a good sign he’s not rehabilitated.” You think? In Britain there are now plans to give early release to more scumbags...er sorry I mean “reformed offenders”. The prison population is too high. So why not build more prisons? You would think after 40 years of failure they would finally wake up and smell the coffee. Prison may not “work” in reforming bad people. So what? It keeps them off the streets. We have a bunch of clowns called the Prison Reform Trust over here. They trot out their spokesperson every time there are plans to release more riff raff onto the streets. I wish I knew what alternate reality these fools lived in, a paradise with no bad people it seems. I am baffled by this. I think if you asked most people “Would you pay more tax so we could lock up villains for the crimes they have committed?” The answer would be a resounding yes. You want safer streets? Build more prisons. Recently a pair of vicious thugs who kicked an innocent man to death were given a “life” sentence. That means if they behave themselves they get out in eleven years. How is that a life sentence. Skipper I could rant all day on this one!

  2. Let’s hope this genius gets a judge with enough sense to give him a longer time to contemplate his sins.

I hear you, Lyndon. People are screaming about the enlarging prison population here. They don’t seem to be able to correlate it to the decreasing crime rate. Funny how these things work, innit?
