  1. Technically, she wasn’t fired. She was forced to retire, which (I understand) she was going to do soon anyway.

  2. Ohhhhh, litature and language is what she allegedly teaches!!  I’ll bet she’s an expert in Orwellan “New Speak”.  “Double-plus good on her!!”

In our country, free speech does not include vandalism and theft.  At her urging, students destroyed an AUTHORIZED, CAMPUS APPROVED display.  What do you bet that if someone had destroyed an oped display of hers that she would have been all upset about the “violation of her free speech.”

She is little more than a fascist thug with her own following of Hitler Youth or Young Pioneers.  I hope my son can retain his basic conservative beliefs when he enters college in 2 years.

  3. This is really the children vs the adults, as Dennis Prager says. The “teacher” is a child whose personal acting out is more important than underlying American principles like free speech, the marketplace of ideas, open discussion and debate.

Worse, she has inflicted her childish tantrum on her students. The more sad thing, as the story is written, nobody in the class seems to have taken a stand against the suppression of ideas with which they disagreed. Argue, debate, run around with your hair on fire – all in the finest American tradition. But this thuggery goes too far.

Anyone read about the 4 democratic activists who slashed the tires of vans that were going to pick up Republican voters and take them to the polls last November? No? Of course not. One is Sowande A. Omokunde, the son of Democratic U.S. Rep. Gwen Moore, and another is Michael Pratt the son of former acting Milwaukee Mayor Marvin Pratt. They are gonna do time, thankfully, and the judge tossed the plea agreement (community service, I think) and gave them a slap down for disenfranchising voters.

Dhimmycrats need not follow the laws of society or rules of common decency, but they sure do like to bitch and moan over non-existent affronts and violations.

  4. Comrades,

The really good ending to this, if I had my druthers, would be for the folks who put up the display to sue her for mega millions and then have the Feds come down for civil-right’s violations.

That way, she’d end up losing her pension to pay off the lawsuit and spend her days behind a counter saying “you want fries with that?” Hopefully, she’ll be working alongside some hispanic illegals. Or sharing a cell with themsmile

    Respects,

    Gwedd

  5. Actually, the DA is pressing charges. I think I saw it on Ace. Wait, let me look (my eyes are dilated and I can’t see very well—eye exam) ... nope, it’s here.

  6. Just more ‘tolerance’ from the left. Destroying displays is NOT free speech. It is vandalism. I hope the teacher and her students do time for this.
