  1. An excellent reason to arm babysitters and nannies.  A very serious answer to the idiotic question of “Why do you need a gun?”

  2. Here in the northeast we have a sort of giant mutant coyote. Some call them coy-dogs, some think they are cross bred with wolves. I don’t know, but I do know that they are much larger than regular coyotes, up in the 50-60lb range, as big as a German Shepherd but thinner across the shoulders. Looks like a coyote but chestier, and as big as a medium large dog. Evolution in action, or just well fed animals continuing to grow? Beats me, but I wouldn’t want to mess with one. Or six! They are not timid either; I’ve seen them loping along in the daytime right next to roads and through yards.

  3. Dam glad to have had a sidearm several times to fend off these beasts of the woods.  They seem to come from nowhere and attack the livestock and family pets.  Don’t have any notches yet, but have shaved the hair off the backs of more than one.

  4. I’m not expert and I don’t live in California but if there is a park where kids can play and next to that park is a state park with wild animals and from what I gathered, is not fenced in and there have been 3 wild animal attacks involving children, wouldn’t it be smart to oh lets say, move the park with the playground equipment.
