Yea, we did..
Yes, we did.......now to defeat the Poodle & the Breack girl in Nov..........
And we did it in a primary where fewer Republicans voted (600k vs 840k dem) because of less-contested races. The state Rep. party wanted the ballot in November but our LLL Dem. governor (WHO HAS BEEN OUSTED, YEAH!!!!) forced it on the Aug. ballot. The 70% in favor would have been nearer 80% in Nov.
As I posted before I was neutral on this issue - I hold fairly conservative positions but when it comes to issues like abortion and gay-marriage I don’t feel you should ‘legislate’ what I view as strictly a moral issue. But when it came down to it - I voted in favor due to HOW IT WAS WORDED:
Shall the Missouri Constitution be amended so that to be valid and recognized in this state, a marriage shall exist only between a man and a woman?
That’s how I was raised so political correctness be damned.
