3. At the risk of sounding like a bleeding heart liberal and also keeping in mind that this is a Califorinia case. Life on death row may be a fitting way to deal with this.

   The state having to pay for his appeals is a real bummer, but that would happen anyway. Even if he chose not to there would be some group do it for him.

   I don’t know that the general population would view him as any worse than any other murderer.

   Down here in the south death row is a slow death anyway. Seen the place here in Florida and I treat my dog better, which is as it should be.

   Now if they were to bring back public hangings.....

4. At the risk of sounding like I don’t care…

   I Don’t Care.

   Why is it that my local news--TV, radio, and print--are fixated on a California murder trial? (again?)

   My local city has plenty of local murder cases I would rather follow. But somehow, a California murder is supposed to be important to me.

   I’d far rather know about the local murders. Were they solved? Were arrests made? Were the perps convicted? Why? or why not?

   But what do I get from my local news? Scott Peterson. They even interrupt my favorite radio talk-shows with ‘breaking-news’ about Scott Peterson. The ‘breaking-news’ was that the Peterson jury will not be allowed to deliberate over the weekend.

   So far this week my city had at least 5 murders. No further info available?

5. Could care less about Scott Peterson........I feel for the parents of Laci who will never be able to enjoy the wonders of knowing their grandson............
