Cosmic Ray Attack

  1. ROFLMBAO!! Oh stop it Skip, you’re killing me!!

“He claims carbon dioxide emissions due to human activity are having a smaller impact on climate change than scientists think. If he is correct, it could mean that mankind has more time to reduce our effect on the climate”

Uh huh, never admit you’re a dumbshit and have it all wrong. Nope. This only means we have more time to Save The World. Yeah, until the next ice age I’d bet.

“results show that the rays produce electrically charged particles when they hit the atmosphere.” But, but, electrically charged particles in the upper atmosphere is what makes OZONE!!!!

“It was long thought that clouds were caused by climate change” Really??? what part of Dingbat U did this joker graduate from? They always taught us that clouds were formed by warm evaporated water rising in the atmosphere until it cooled. The only “climate change” involved was daytime = sunlight = warmer, nightime = dark = cooler.

“the temperature rise due to human activity may be much smaller” uh huh, as in diddly/squat = so close to nothin that you can’t tell the difference.

“High levels of cloud cover blankets the Earth and reflects radiated heat from the Sun back out into space, causing the planet to cool”. But, but, high levels of cloud blanketing the Earth reflect ground heat back down to the planet, causing the dread Venus Effect, which all Greenies know Will Kill Us All!!!

And this one is the best ... oh God, this one’s a bladder buster: “the number of cosmic rays hitting the Earth changes with the magnetic activity around the Sun. During high periods of activity, fewer cosmic rays hit the Earth and so there are less clouds formed, resulting in warming”. NO, ya frickin numbnuts, high periods of solar magnetic activity are directly related to high periods of solar activity. High periods of solar activity mean MORE ENERGY put out by the Sun, and MORE SOLAR ENERGY = WARMER PLANETS, MARS INCLUDED.

Ok, cosmic rays may play a role, but I’d bet it’s a darn small one. This is just one more “scientist” finding another symptom and claiming it’s the disease. Duh.

Thanks for the laughs Skipper. Now let’s get back to the important stuff, like trying to figure out why Anna Nicole was famous, and whether Lindsay Lohan will be the next winner in the dead pool.

  2. COSMIC RAYS?

OMG… at what point do i get super-powers??? smile

  3. I just want to point out that the Vikings discovered and colonized Greenland. Back in the 1100’s, it was warm enough to raise crops in Greenland. Obviously, since then the Earth has cooled. We are now possibly coming out of a cold phase.

‘Course, if you really want to argue, we’ve been warming for the last 12000 years… end of the last Ice Age.

Global warming… The Sky is Falling, The Sky is Falling!

Hmmm… gotta wonder how many youngsters have been read or told about Chicken Little…

  4. I’ve known about them (cosmic) rays since 1966. Been wearing my tin foil hat ever since.
