Cork Those Corgies

Come here pleeeezz! We have to do the screens this year - and the yard and some tree work and of course the ever present boxes - and just seem not to be getting it done. I just happen to hate window work (and the floors) - everything else not so much. I guess as the weather stabilizes things will get better around here. It would be nice if the hubby and daughter got jobs - I tend to work longer and harder - alone. They distract me and/or ask too many questions (you know the old I can do it faster and better myself). Although the back and forth with the carpet machines (we have 3 - a shampooer, a steam cleaner and a spot cleaner - can you tell we spent 23 years moving every 3 years?!) has given my hubby a better appreciation for the work that I’ve been doing these past 27+ years and he is helping around the house more - and so is the daughter.
See guilt and shame do work. I guess that’s why the liberals hate religion so much!
We had a week of great weather - lots and lots of doggies who bark constantly around here - made having the windows open unpleasant at times. I hear that the ‘bark off’ works (we have been thinking of getting it and putting it on our front brick wall - as it just might work on the 3 relentless ones directly across the street) - but that might be a good buy for you - for those kinds of jobs. I hate the little yappie dogs - and I can’t imagine a herd of them. Sometimes find it amazing that I’d wanted Corgis when I was a kid - but that was before my Mom bought a toy poodle - fixed me forever on small yappie dogs.
